We get rough versions of the main four kids with the wrong names and somewhat wrong designs and voices. We get the first “You killed Kenny!” and “I learned something today.” We even get the first appearance of bearded baby Jesus.
But for a short, this is a fun bit. Taking the story of Frosty and turning it into a horror movie, replete with a halo-boomerang rescue from Baby Jesus himself. The closing bit about learning the true meaning of Christmas -- presents, is a fun swerve.
It’s hard to imagine a 20+ season show emerging from this crude construction paper short, but the roots of it are there!
