The fact that Helen can't accept a locked door that Lex clearly does not want to talk about does not bode well for her ability to keep the Kent family secret. Either way, I don't get why the women on this show are so bitchy - sure it's not a nice feeling for your partner to keep something from you, but perhaps you can give them time until they're ready to share? The only woman who doesn't constantly bitch to others for no good reason is Martha, which is just as well considering Jonathan does it instead.
It was good seeing someone with powers doing good things.
The writers found yet another way to show how bullies affect students.
It really was interesting seeing Clark having his hopes up about the fact that someone could be from the same place as him.

I’m not so sure how Lex’s character evolves in the show, or if he ever becomes Clark’s nemesis, but I wonder what would happen if Clark just revealed his secret to Lex, cause I don’t feel like Lex’s purpose with his research is to expose him but rather to find the truth and get the satisfaction of saying “Yes!! Aliens!!”, like that would be an interesting parallel universe, Lex and Clark actually trusting each other.
