It is packaged as a sort of homage to 1980s Science Fiction movies like "Cyborg". Ed has even said the show isn't so much a parody as it is homage to those movies. The series was to be on mobile phones and when that didn't pan out, Glaser put it online and produced ten episodes on a very low budget!
Using cast that somewhat different from Press Start (Peter Davis and Joshua Stafford appear.), Glaser created the show where the star is a woman named Huntress who is humanity's only hope against an invasion of aliens.
