So now time for something different. "Sidetracked" completely ditches the normal formula in favour of an action-packed spy episode focused almost entirely on Agent P. It's such a radical departure and yet it's all the better for it, delivering on not just the action front but the development front. Lyla is a fantastic new character as well, her chemistry with Perry almost as good as him and Doof, and the main story is grand enough to warrant the double length.
Plus, it's always interesting to do more worldbuilding in the show. There is a strong, well defined universe in this show and learning about the history of Perry himself, the C.O.W.C.A., and other villains make this world feel more alive. Fantastic, unique episode.
