One of my favourite elements of the show is how character driven all of the actions of the cast are. And this is no exception here, as the show continues to demonstrate a mastery of character humor, sly references, and metatexutal analysis of it's own cast that really works. It's also just a really great idea for an episode, continuing this season's reliance on more unique ideas for it's inventions.

The Doof plot is also a fantastic one - it's always his petty ones or his nonsensical ones that are the most entertaining to see unfold, this one is no exception, particularly for it's gags involving it misfiring.
