This is one of those episodes that's great for how unexpected most of it's humor is. It constantly is trying to one up itself in the gag department, and the nature of the tower means there is a constant creativity to the animation. This is one of the best looking episodes so far in a season that has been constantly improving it's animation episode by episode - the song "Breaking Out" in particular is worth noticing.
I also really just how the episode plays with Isabella, Buford, and Baljeet here. By this point they are beyond side characters and part of the main cast here, and all of them are a riot here as they wait for Phineas and Ferb to escape the tower - seeing them mostly be kids in spite of the increasing craziness of their ideas makes for great humor.
