This is one of those episodes that works because of it's simple conceit - there is a lot going on here but it's all based around a simple idea, specifically that of a literal Robot Rodeo. Because of that, it's able to work around it's concept brilliantly and give great character moments, particularly with Candace and Stacy. Even Doofenshmirtz gets a lot to do here, particularly in how his rivalry with Rodney continues to develop.
And the final moments happens and it's an all time "What the hell" moment for the show and yet it's so funny and unexpected you can't help but love it. Fantastic episode once again.
