The Doof plot trumps everything else here as we get a look into Norm of all characters, but it's a well needed one. Despite being mostly a background figure up until this point, this episode does a ton to look into the relationship between Doof and Norm - it's a lot like a father and son dynamic, something that would be played up in later episodes to great effect.
The main plot here is still good though! It's a standard Candace affair, which means it's funny, energetic, and with a great payoff. It's just a little on the predictable side and feels like a minor retread at points. Thankfully the jokes keep this one feeling fresh.
