There are one too many things going on at points but it's difficult to hate when it's this good. The show has such a deft balance of pacing, plot, and characters that it never feels overwhelming or too much - even if this is one episode that does threaten to break the damn. Still, the premise allows for some change of scenery and some clever callbacks to early episodes in ways that you wouldn't expect.

Speaking of which, this show, despite being almost entirely episodic, has a much stronger sense of continuity then you would think. Every episode does actually advance character, and lessons do stick for the most part. There is no sense that "nothing matters", when characters change it sticks which is a rarity in shows like this.
