We've seen episodes about the bond of the boys and Perry before, but never quite like this. This is a heartwarming, emotional episode perfectly encapsulates why this show is so great. The simple sincerity of everything never comes off as smug or manipulative but instead from a genuine place - the show doesn't force you to care, instead it earns it, and the final image gives me goosebumps everytime and makes my heart soar.
It's not all gloom - it's still Phineas and Ferb, so it's very funny and has a ton of great gags, particularly on Doof's side of the story where they constrast him with another villain. This show is absolutely killing it right now!
