With it reaching it's stride, the second season of Phineas and Ferb surpasses the already spectacular first season with ease. Nearly every episode here is a bullseye, consistently delivering excellent episode after excellent episode without even blinking for a second. And when the show threatens to get repetitive, it throws a new wrench into the mix with great new characters, a strong focus on development and worldbuilding, and a commitment to it's own setup and gags that most live action shows could learn from.
It's the kind of show where so much happens in it's 11 minutes that it's hard to even describe how good it can get - and when it's at its absolute peak, it's genuinely fantastic television with stellar character writing and emotional gravitas that's actually earned. And it's only about to get better from here.
