In the original, when an X-rated cake was used in an episode, Dan was PURE Dan.
This time, he is ...well, he is less Dan. I have to wonder if they are taming back his previous Hyper-Sexual Drive, to meet with today's norms. (Also, I almost was expecting Dan to say he was the one in recovery for Sexual Addiction.
But I do give them some kudos attempting to show the X-rated cupcakes, even if they were digitized.
Mini-gripe: They got all the sets identical to the old show except one. The jail. Come on now, how hard could it have been to recreate the old jail.
