8.5/10. This series was originally pitched as "South Park meets Davey and Goliath," and that advertisement feels pretty true to this episode. The idea of Orel misunderstanding the concept of charity so severely, that in his chipper, blithe state he ends up smoking and getting addicted to crack is the sort of twisted story happening to an elementary school kid that Matt & Trey made famous. But it works well here with the ridiculous extremes they go to with Orel. I kept waiting for the swerve or the parents jumping in to prevent Orel from actually smoking crack, but instead the show went whole hog, and I was mildly, if pleasantly scandalized by it. The show's already hitting the "Orel takes a well-meaning church lesson too seriously" well pretty hard, but this was a fun if kind of extreme one, and Orel's dad's admonition being about using slang instead of using crack was the satirical cherry on top.
