1x07 Will the Real May Please Stand Up?

What's going on with this show? It started okay but it's quickly being bogged down with 'Melrose Place' soap and especially 'tude stuffed young women stinking up the show.

And all this focus on their dad 'running away'... they had binoculars, how the hell could they misinterpret his sign language to them?! He didn't flip the bird at them...

The tide is coming in for me and if they don't get out of this bog the show drowns for me and I'll be tapping out.

It's not exactly going well, but this will be a stopping point for a lot of folks. I'll be sure to skip anything penned by Mariko Tamaki in the future.

So all the monsters are gone and only their legacy remains? Why the hell did they make the show about monsters if they didn't want to show them? Awful. I'll just cancel Apple TV+.

Another confusing episode. Jumping all over the place. So now we know more about May. But, who can you trust? :thinking:

If the acting wasn't bad enough...This episode felt like it was added in after the fact and was done so by an intern. The dialogue felt forced and out of place. This is certainly no longer a series about Godzilla or monsters.

Anna Sawai and Ren Watabe are two of the worst actors I've ever seen. This is like two completely different shows. The past is interesting and well acted. The current time is just plain awful in every possible way. Kurt Russel can't even save this garbage.

I'll be surprised if this shit show gets another season.

Looks like only the people who aren't enjoying the show are writing comments. The average is much higher than the ratings by the commenters, so there must be a silent majority.
I really liked this episode. I'm in it for the people, not the monsters, that's probably the main difference.

I was expecting monsters and Godzilla, but instead there are characters trying to find one or two other people. The rest like 1% is about monsters and Godzilla.

not making cate & may a thing would be a huge waste. they have crazy chemistry! that scene of them in the car killed me. the brother might as well have been a seatbelt with how little he mattered in the moment lmao

I'ts becoming more and more mediocre. The character building is so shallow and unrelated. It feels like a children's show.. The whole serie's style is just waiting every episode for a little action moment and that's it. Might as well be a 40 mini-series and compress all the extra fat off of it. It adds nothing

How did Apple allow that lady in the office to bearing a Jabbra headset while on a call instead of Air Pods. Someone going to get fired over that mistake.
