What an epic season finale! Geez, Jon Bernthal is The Punisher just like Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man. This season was really amazing, and not only Bernthal's acting was great, but the rest of the cast too. Just loved it. Ready for season 2.

MEMENTO MORI
-13-

As soon as they introduced Billy Ruso I wondered if they got the guts to turn him into Jigsaw.
After last Episode I thought they could actually do it.
And as I saw the mirror I knew: They are fucking doing it!
Can't whait to find out what his face will look like.

Never thought a ride with a carousel would be so intense!^^

Last four Episodes where insane!
I was most surprised by the gore.
Maybe one of the best Marvel Shows!
Hell, it is!

Jon Bernthal is the Punisher!
No doubt about that!

Great finale to a great season. Can’t wait to see season 2. Overall I thought the season was the best Netflix marvel show since Jessica Jones. Bernthal was great. The Punisher was written deeper than just a killing machine. The action sequences were fun and really well done. Still a little too long, I think 10 episodes would make a perfect season.

The best season of marvel netflix has to date.

Jon Bernthal plays Frank Castle perfect! His voice fits as Frank Castle should sound. Amazing season! Looking forward to the next season!!

I haven’t had many expectations about this series and I am happy that it proved me wrong. It wasn’t all the hardcore action I supposed it is going to be. No. The action was there when I should to be and it was done well. Very well with great balance between being to soft and to hard. But the main point of this series are dialogues which are done exceptionally well. They sound natural and can deliver powerful emotions through it. Casting is also a strong point of it. I can’t remind a single character that was weak in his or her role - both main or secondary character.
All together it was a great series to watch, a pleasure surprise and I hope that they can keep up the pace with second season.

He pulls the gun closure and THEN takes out the magazine. That means there's still a round in the rifle, right?
So why didn't he shoot?

Just, amazing, what a show!

well well im so glad that Frank got to settle the score with Billy Russo he got what was coming to him and how dare him meet where Frank family got killed. Poor Dinah bless her heart she went to try to help out and almost got killed for it then she helps him out to get a new life as Pete of all names. Frank and Nick both are such an awesome team

Not-so-fun fact: This is actually not Jon Bernthal's first carousel shootout (Mob City).

Punisher crushing Billy Russo was pure savagery unlike anything else on TV. Who writes such a sequence, damn! All in all the finale just might have made up for all the boring bits on the entire season at once, superb show.

Those last two episodes were so intense I had impressions in my palms.

We need to shock him or multivitamin him or something, why The Punisher can take more punches compared to opponents, always!! As Gore as Funny as Good!

I guess the final confrontation was needed, but there weren't any stakes left, so that felt a little gratuitous.

Frank confirms his more psychopath than vigilante side that we saw on the previous episode. He took his sweet time slowly fighting and slightly torturing Russo while Madani was bleeding to death. He also took the time to untie the hostages before checking on her.

Stupid asshole hostage, who the fuck calls attention on the person sneakingly trying to save you ?

That's twice that David comes back to Sarah and the first thing she does is ask where Frank is.

I guess the ending is pretty classic and what we were going towards since the beginning. But it won't last, obviously.

Madani should be dead, what a boring and annoying character

Madani's father fixes up Frank enough for him to live and fight another day. Frank then continues to persue Billy. Billy goes to see Curtis and is attacked by Frank with a sniper atop a nearby building. Frank and Billy settle their final fight on a Ferris wheel which I thought was very creative. Madani disobeys orders and arrives at the scene hoping to stop Billy once and for all but is shot in the head - and eventually lives. Frank gets the uphand on Billy but decides not to kill him but hurts him bad enough to be reminded forever of how he earned the scars on his face. David is properly reunited with his family and heads home. Frank decides to join Curtis' weekly meetings and confesses that ultimately he is human and he is scared. A very satisfying end to the first season, I can't wait to see what's coming for season 2!

Season finale, finish the rest Frank. It was good but in 8 episodes it would have been better

Am I the only one who thinks that the last 2 minutes were pretty bad?
The music was so boring and did not fit. The ending was not special. It was so boring. He didn't say anything special, anything what you would frame...
Now it's the end and I feel a little bit upset about that last 2 minutes. Like I am not steeped in it.

Yey for side holding guns, especially if full auto, army elite

This is IMO up there with DD S1 as the best Marvel/Netflix show. Maybe dragged a bit in the middle (as do most of them - they really should consider going from 13 to 10 episode seasons) but those last 3 episodes were absolutetly fantastic in every aspect.
