Another entertaining episode of Daredevil. Everyone surrounding the crime syndicates are just getting way more interesting, with Vladimir, after learning (ish) Fisk's involvement in Anatoly's death, wanting to murder the man, putting a 1 million ransom on Fisk. But lucky for Fisk, that black dude who tipped off Vladimir about Fisk's involvement was secretly working for Fisk, trying to rile up Vladimir so that Fisk could blow up him along with his Russian mafia. And it looks like all the other mafias are in unision against the Russians, so things were looking bad for them anyways even if Fisk didnt kill Anatoly. Also man, is Fisk becoming such an interesting person, waning to rebuild the city of Hell's Kitchen from the grounds up, using violence and cruelty to achieve is dream of a better city, one where those he views are immoral no longer exist. And its looking like Fisk is winning over Vanessa, who knows way more about Fisk that he realized, yet still is fascinated by the man, wondering if she should stay with him. Also, looks like Daredevil is also hot on the Russian mafia, particularly the head honcho Vladimir. But man, its clear that trying to eradicate the city of corruption through this vigilantisim is taking a toll on Matt, and is slowly tearing apart what keeps Matt different from those he beats up as he as continues this cycle of bloody violence to fix Hell's Kitchen, just for his efforts to feel hopeless in the face of the deeply rooted world of crime infesting the city. And man, just when things were going well between Claire and Matt, with them caring for and starting to love eachother, Matt has to push her away (emotionally, she's still living w/Matt for her safety) because of his obsession with vigilantism for the sake for fixing the city. And with the end of today's episode, after Matt finally met Vladimir, now Matt is going to jail. Also, regarding Foggy and Karen, there relationship like usual is so heartwarming, and Im glad theyve started dating. And man, did Foggy surprise me when he stood up to that lawyer woman from a former firm he worked at, and seeing Foggy help out that older woman renovate her house really made me respect him.

And the plot thickens.
Matt has fully gone down the rabbit whole. With each step Murdock gets close to Fisks circle of mafiosos. In the outer ring are the Russians, the first casualty in Fisk plan to change the city.
Meanwhile, Foggy and Karen work to help the people of Hell's Kitchen against a corrupt landlord. The episodes going into issues of croprate greed, using the law to disenfranchise the poor, along with cleaning up the city as an excuse for gentrification and pushing out poor minorities from their communities.
The most surprising moment was when Vanessa, having revealed that she knows Fisk is a dangerous man, accepts and supports his vision of cleaning up the city and wanting what is best for the people, even if it means destroying (blowing up) the parts of the city he deems rotten, no matter the collateral cost. Vanessa is not some innocent woman who is shocked by the dangers of her potential lover, but rather a woman who admires Fisk's determination, candor and vision of the future.
On the romantic end, Karen shows obvious interest in Matt, though Foggy reveals he "doesn't really date", nobody lasting longer than a month. Unbeknownst to them, Matt and Claire have started what appears to be a sexual relationship, though they don't agree on Matt's after dark activities. This could turn into a love square: Foggy shows interest in Karen, Karen shows interests in Matt, who also kinda flirts back, while he is having a physical relationship with Claire, who he trusts enough to keep telling her about his investigations into Wilson Fisk, along with seeking her out when he is injured.
