Now they're trying to save the show by making people miraculously come to their senses and by sprinkling some sweet poly on top. Kudos.
But RE that whole "suicide with a plastic bag" thing. Now that we've seen how it happened... just reinforces how terrible the police force is working there. No signs of struggle? Really? He struggled quite a lot. But another plot hole seems to be how Nina is calling him right before entering his house and Ellie cuts off the call, right? I mean she could have pressed a silence button, but something about the reaction of Nina and the way Ellie handled it seemed to me like she actually declined the call. And declining a call while you're actually dead... doesn't seem suspicious? Plus his phone actually missing from the scene of the crime... not suspicious either? Wtf police. What the. Actual. F.
Same with how the kids had actually died... if they'd had an autopsy they would have realised they hadn't drowned.
On a side note, how do you "keep watch' while they're inside someone's head. If Dodge suddenly showed up, what will they do? Jump into the door? Knock on it, "tiiiime tooo get ouuuuttt" or... uh... I guess you'll just stay exposed.
Of course taking the key back to the crown while you're off to get it is the best idea, because there's no way Dodge would be anywhere close by, and uh... major headdesk
I love a good mystery and I love it when they leave questions unanswered for a possible next season or just to fill in yourself BUT I also LOVE it when they create an episode that fills in all the blanks, fully bringing you up to speed. This was one of those episodes. They managed to answer every question I had, neatly wrapping that all up for the finale; one that I'm really excited for.
To be honest, when I started the show it took a little while to embrace it, I can blame Nina, Kinsey and Tyler for that. The show grew on me and now I'm totally on board. The characters are flawed, all of them (well except Bode, nothing bad can be sad about sweet, brave Bode) and at first it bothered me but now I see that the flaws are actually pretty logical considering. Kinsey acting out because she lacked fear. Tyler being overly protective and father like because he lost his dad and wanted to fill that gap. Ellie doing everything Ellie did for all the reasons explained in this episode, Sam because he was unloved and Nina dragging her kids to a house linked to the murder of her husband because she wanted to make sense of it all. So these flawed characters grew on me and the story took some nice turns. Nobody can convince me otherwise anymore, EVEN IF THESE DUMB KIDS GAVE THE MOST IMPORTANT KEY AWAY WHEN THEY ARE LITERALLY THE PROTECTORS OF THE KEYS AND DODGE CAN TAKE THEM FROM EVERYONE BUT THEM; I have to say THAT was the DUMBEST thing but it's clear these kids are written to be stupid. I like it. I like this show A LOT and now it's almost over.
Wow wow wow. Why do the writers insist on making the characters so stupid. Let’s give the key to Ellie to take home. Dumb.
The dialogues Kinsey-bully and Kinsey-boys after the attack of the “fear monster” were horrendous. I hated every second of them. Sometimes it feels like there are two scriptwriters doing totally different things with their scenes, not caring about each others style.
This episode was actually back to the quality of the first few episodes. There was good plot, good writing, and no stupidity... Then Ellie pockets the key for the crown? WTF? Why the hell would she do that knowing that she might meet up with Lucas/Dodge? And the kids just let her? I call B.S. on that.
On the one hand, it was great to finally get all the answers and explanations so now everything makes sense....
On the other hand, they keep on with characters’ mood changes that don’t make any sense at all, or stupid decisions like giving the crown key to Ellie
Anyway, still wanting to see how the season ends
Wait Joe takes a picture from his phone from outside & the shutter click sound could be heard in the house??? Come on Netflix, freaking morons.
How is giving the key to Ellie a good idea?
Disappointing that Tyler has no reaction at all to finding out. That Dodge who he had sex with was really a guy. Probably out of fear that a negative reaction would offend someone.
Still, no reaction is bad writing. It’s also silly that Kingsey apologizes to Gabe and Scot for not thinking of consequences. Of kissing one guy while being with another guy. Then says “I will just date you both. I can’t choose.” Without thinking of consequences....
Mystery wise the show still has me hooked. Just lose the Twilight like love triangles. Also, talking about consequences. There should be consequences of Tyler getting with Dodge or at least that leading to something.
But why did Lucas have sex with a guy? To enjoy killing him by strangling him? If they wanted to make him a queer character with just one scene it is not enough... it makes no sense! What it makes sense (Or kinda) is that Lucas isn't actually him but the "demon" who possessed him, that's why the demon turns into a woman that nobody knew before.
"I don't want to choose ... What if I date you both?" I am not that woke/openminded ... disgusting

How are the kids still so stupid as to give non-Locke people keys? It's like they haven't learned anything! Ellie didn't need to take the shadow key to go get the crown. So stupid.
"Hello, darkness, my old friend" sooooo lame. I can't believe they actually wrote that in.
