Perfect cast for the show until Fox had to screw things up. Stifler should have stuck with the types of shows hes good at. We will remember this for Fox.
Season 1 and 2 were really enjoyable
then riggs got changed to stiffler and it sucked, you cant change the protagonist mid series like that
The first 2 seasons were great, at first I thought it was gonna be a lil cheesy but then again, it kinda brought me back to the 80s 90s over the top stunts, I loved this show and was heartbroken to see them kill off Rigs. Sean William Scott is entertaining but he’s not rigs and the show isn’t leathel weapon without rigs, call it something else entirely. Management should be fired for this one you guys totally blew it. Bad call
At start I thought the show would be crappy, but I gave it a shot and I did love it. I was a fan of the 80s movies, I took it as a separate thing, but was funny, had some action and the storyline was somehow interesting due to Clayne Crawford's performance which was what kept the show going, and I'd keep watching just for it but now FOX decided to fire Clayne Crawford from Lethal Weapon. Martin Riggs was killed off. The dude was the show. Unchecked from my watchlist.
First two seasons were pretty good, sadly after that the series suffers from forced character relationships which just don't feel authentic.
It's sad what happened with Clayne Crawford but the real life issues he was drawing energy from is what made him a good actor, and sadly he was the best part of this reboot.
The quality of the show has fallen lower than Hawaii Five-0 in recent episodes, and with so much other great television in this new golden age Lethal Weapon sadly just no longer makes the cut. (Go check out Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan)
Seasons 1 and 2 were incredible. Clayne Crawford made this series awesome. As much as I like Sean William Scott, he isn't as good in the role. It's too bad a crappy D list actor like Wayans had to ruin a good series with his nonsense.
So happy this has been cancelled after Season 3. There was no chemistry between Murtaugh and Cole, the characters looked bored, where was the comedy. I just watched seasons 1 and 2, how good they were. Thank you Riggs.

Wow. Given the rating I hoped for something pretty decent, but no, not really. It's pretty forced most of the time, the casting is off in like 50+% of the characters, the details are not given much attention. Hopefully it gets better after the second episode.
The only upside is that the portrayal of Riggs is pretty good, and his backstory as well.
This series ended with Season 2 for me.
Continuing without Riggs was just NONSENSE.
How to waste an incredible potential... they could've easily done like 6-7 seasons at high levels. Shame.
Wayans is leaving after S03. If there's no Riggs and no Murtaugh it wouldn't be Lethal Weapon anyway. Seems that there's a high chance Fox will axe the series.

I honestly didn't think this show was going to be any good....but damn was I proven wrong. Absolutely love the storyline, characters, and dynamics of the show. Seriously folks, do not pass this one up. Super entertaining and funny with plenty of action!

Best TV reboot so far. Macgyver and Rush Hour reboots (which suck) could learn a lot from this show. The casting was great and it's not as cheesey as the other recent TV show remakes.
Started good. A nice mix of funny and the usual cop shenanigans. Nice series, all good. But then the supposed to be funny move of Murtaugh being scared of his wife because she is a tough lawyer (aka just a regular lawyer that always annoys cops Hollywood style). Sprinkled with the usual clichés (Murtaugh annoyed by his neighbor because of bigger Xmas decoration... That was just the tip of the iceberg of bad script).
Ended it after 10 or so episodes. Bummer.
I really thought that this tv show would be boring, but, it's actually extremely awesome. I will be watching. :)
The latest show to get caught up in the hype machine that plays off a brand and nostalgia. If it weren't titled "Lethal Weapon" it'd be a mediocre bombastic cop show that leans more towards the absurd. If you've seen even one of the movies you don't need to watch the others and the same goes for the series. The only thing the show has going for it is the casting of the main characters, but that alone doesn't make up for the pivots between a campy and sincere tone in a single breath. There's a "bad guy of the week" structure, plot lines you see coming miles away, and "jokes" that do little to balance the random dips into wanton verses exhilarating or purposeful violence. Makes me think of Backstrom where if you weren't a fan of Rainn Wilson's comedic style you couldn't explain the appeal of another cop show with weak character development and a cliche plot. FOX knows its crowd though, because the same empty headed time investment that made a show like Empire popular might fuel this indefinitely as well.
Movies turned to Shows are always tricky, and after Rush Hour I lost a hope for something to be done right, but thankfully Lethal Weapon proved me wrong. They got everything right and just the right pieces of the movie to make it a show of its own. Damon Wayons and Clayne Crawford make for a dynamic duo who are different from Mel Gibson and Danny Glover but the same feeling you get when seeing true duo who work together in the right way. The storylines are great and in depth with the right flavor of action and comedy, and underlying story to each of the characters. They are really making it better and better every episode I watch, if you haven't seen it then you are missing out, they made this show their own and doing justice to the original movies. Keep it going and looking forward to more from these guys.

Guilty pleasure. Really. It can be fun, although Riggs' haircut is just annoying... The two work well together but the cases are mostly formulaic and lackluster if not outright boring, so they come up with that conspiracy theory about his wife's accident.. or was it.... ah ok so it wasn't ya ok, but then again, let's just drag this out a bit more and so on and so on... from case to case... rinse repeat only works for so long...
As a big fan of the movies "just not part 4", I love this series. Due to a dedicated cast. Everyone brings their own things to their roles while not just lazily copying the original actors.
Clayne Crawford especially steals the show as Riggs. He especially is better when he isn't just moping around missing his dead wife. That got the feels but I prefer the later episodes where Riggs is a bit more cheerful but still a loose cannon.
Damon Wayans was weird casting but from the first episode on, you realize he is great casting. He's at his best in this show and has great chemistry with Crawford. The action can be intense and fun too.
Truly fantastic show. One of the best "recently launched" shows.
It's a fun show. Yes. Not giving 10 because of endless flashbacks (1, 2 or 3 fine but no... All the time) and trying to make not funny clichés funny. That did not work surprisingly so.
Really too bad. Otherwise this could have been a hit.
Despite the show's title I don't think it's really Lethal Weapon.
What I mean is, while it starts off okay, some of the characters quickly become caricatures of their movie version namesakes. Which was a shame.

This series really surprised me. It has been a long time since I looked forward to watching a show as much as this one every week. It reminds me of many good 80s cop or detective shows. No one has been able to equal the buddy cop or detective show formula of the 80s until now. Very well done indeed.
Last episode of Season 3 is a good finale.

Last year it was the biggest positive surprise for me. I love the original movies and I love this. They kept the spirit of Lethal Weapon and managed to come up with a pair of actors that have an excellent chemistry. I'm really happy this got second season - and I'm hoping there will be more in the future.

I'm so glad that this has returned, still funny, fast and they keep the story line going.
When i first saw it , i was like "Jesus another shitty series from a movie". But then i saw the first episode and the second i was like "This is fun". It really is. It is fun, i love both of the main characters and i say i like this riggs so much better that the original. I am glad it got ot get a second season.

If you have watched the films, you know 90% of the enjoyment comes from the relationship between the two, and the relationship between these two is just fantastic. They knock it out of the park. These two could just sit talking to each other and I'd watch. However the story lines are above average and it ticks along at a nice pace.
Thought I would hate it, but highly recommend it.
Probably the best of the lackluster shows this season. While it is not perfect, realistically few shows are. It is one of the best reboots/remakes I have seen.

A feel good movie but have many of the cliche life lessons. I like the old fashion similarity to the movies.
I wasn't expecting much, being as it's a TV Show of an already awesome Movie. They don't usually go well, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Even though it's clearly copying the Movie it's good in it's own right, it brings back the feel of the film.
There's really not much in the sense of a season-long serialized story. But, the humor, action and buddy schtick is enough to keep me coming back for more episodes.
They need to lessen the drama side and focus on the comedy side of the show. The latest episode had the most drama and was the worst one easily. The writers do not do dramatics any good.
its a nice show; better than most people would expect, but after 4 episodes it gives nothing to look forward to. nothing to keep us waiting for the next episode.
The show is good reboot, surprisingly. Both characters have individual personalities that shine through their scenes and the dialogue is good.
