Waste of time / filler episode. So boring. You can literally skip this episode & you would not miss anything. One of the worst episodes of the season.
Too much Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The whole look of Dark Josie is exactly like Dark Willow from Buffy.
Urgh :weary: i hate these "film noir" episodes. I'd rather have a musical than this.

And i thought lizzys old friend comes back das its not bc of the title :(
Rated it a 4, solely for the black and white scenes. Soooooooooo boring!

Why oh why do showrunners feel that a detective style 1940s black and white episode is the THING they gotta do? I didn't like the 1940s Legend of Tomorrow episode or the Pretty Little Liars black and white whodunit either.
Julie Plec magically managed to include Emma Ric drama and Landon Hope drama without Landon even being there in an episode that I'd think would be devoid of ship stuff ! Girls got some serious chops lol, by which I mean leave it to Plec to find a way to insert fanship drama into any episode.
Josie at the end was pretty cool; it felt like she was a Supergirl villain like Reign. The color parts were almost enough to make me re-evaluate the abysmally low rating I gave this episode.
