[7.8/10] Good episode. The round-up was good, from finding the humor in Trump's response to the recent school shooting, to the adventures of Trudeau and Trump Jr. in India, to tying things together to the President's little cheat sheet. And the "And Now" bit with Rachel Ray was oddly, affectlingly bleak!
The main story was good too. I have to admit, I probably overrated this one, because other than knowing a bit about Berlusconi, I know nothing about Italian politics so this was an amusing and informative primer. The notion of the failed centrist, the comedian-turned-firebrand, the young guy, and last but not least, the hardliner nationalist aligned with Berlusconi is a funny but scary one, and Oliver does a nice job of towing that line with the segment, while also explaining why it matters. And the ending, with Oliver's "Air Bud" reference, recreated failed Italian gameshow appearance, and toy volcano all fed nicely into LWT's sense of ridiculousness.
