[9.0/10] Another great episode. The opening round-up succinctly and amusingly detailed the absurdity of Trump trying to decertify the agreement with Iran, despite Congress not wanting it, his own advisors not wanting it, and the other signatories to the agreement agreeing that Iran is meeting its benchmarks. It's hard to keep up with all the Trump stuff, particularly its intricacies, given how fast and furious this stuff comes out, but Oliver & Co. do a good job at not only explaining this stuff pithily, but finding humor in the insanity of it all.
The interstitial bit about Pumpkin Spice Lattes was Conan-esque, and a good example of the show poking fun at the silly minutia on TV news.
And the main story was pretty great too. Again, Oliver & Co. just giving sober yet funny accounts of the news of the day, going into detail other, more serious news outlets don't, is a real strength. I knew about the Experion issues, but didn't know the full depth of it, and so LWT taking time out to dig into what the problem is, how deep it goes, and how few options are available is a little scary, but also necessary, and the fact that they can wring humor from it is outstanding. (Oliver's asides to the tune of "you don't mean it" when they applauded him calling lookalike Steve Mnuchin a fox, or "you got it" when they joined in his Fraggle Rock clap were superb.)
Overall, another episode of the show at its informative and funny best.
