"What he's saying is really stupid, but he's sincere."
"Are we the tasty treats?"
The legendary episode, the birthplace of "the implication".
The stupidity of Frank is starting to become too much. It's like that character keeps getting written down to be dumber and dumber, to suit the story.

[7.6/10] This one was lots of insane fun, though as I’ve started to discover with IASIP, I think I’ve come to like the little things more than the storylines. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes the show can tell a good story, but it’s often more about packing in humor in little moments rather than some overarching thing.
For instance, I got a giant kick out of the progression with Dee dancing like an inflatable arm-flailing tube man. The way the idea is introduced with Dee’s boogie, reinforced with the tubeman getting in the way, and then culminates in a suprisingly synchronous dance among the two of them is just perfect. And the image of the tubeman flailing as the boat catches on fire is a brilliant tag.
I also really enjoyed other little bits of the episode as well. Frank’s overhand throw of the keys and the flashlight into the water is dumb but enjoyable. Charlie talking about the “endangered tang” of the catfish they were eating was amusing. And the opening bit about the guys sticking with the idea of buying a boat for a few days which is “a surprising amount of focus” for them was funny too.
Then there’s the other little side bits, like the running gag about who’s patronizing whom, which just kept paying dividends. And as line-crossing as it is, I can’t help but find Mac’s bewilderment at Dennis’s barely-restrained sociopathy a solid vein of humor for this show, even when delving into territory about “the implication” of women being out in the open ocean.
Overall, this was a bunch of good, if demented, nautical comedy, with the small character comedy as good as anything legitimately aquatic in the episode.
