[7.5/10] Fun episode. I think my favorite part was Charlie going full on religious Charlatan with his little song and dance and bass-ackward interpretation of the bible, to the chagrin of the fearful-of-the-lord Mac. The contrast between the two was so funny, and outsized Charlie is a funny Charlie.
The main story with Dee and Matthew (aka "Rickety Crickets") was the dark kind of stuff the show does pretty well. The terribleness of Dee's come-ons and him actually quitting the priesthood for her is black comedy but it got a few laughs. Dennis fasting because he thinks his face looks fat led to some great physical comedy for him, and Frank trying to get a guy to bless the bar had its moments too.
Overall, not the show's strongest episode ever, but some fun riffs all-around.
Didn't expect the ending. Great episode
The more I watch this show the more I realise they are all horrible, horrible people. Hilarious horrible people.
