Is It Real? sorts the facts from fiction in modern-day myths about supernatural phenomena. The show explores some of the more common myths such as crop circles and ghosts, as well as some of the far out myths like spontaneous human combustion. The series looked at these topics from a skeptical point of view, going at them with the attitude of, "Oh yeah? Then prove it." Frequently, the people making the more outrageous claims could not.
