That 3º wall break was just hilarious. I love the sassy attitude Allen have, he's stronger than ever and he will hopefully prove it at the end of the season. What a great rollercoaster of episode, can't wait to see the finale.
Sad, then exciting! I haven't read the comics, but it seems like Mark could kill, just doesn't want to... could beat a Viltrumite even, just doesn't wanna be like them, and I don't think I want him to.
Allen the Alien on the other hand... seems like he can just keep being a sweetheart.
The fight between Mark and Anissa has a very strong General Zod controlling Superman by threatening Lois Lane vibe.
Among the show's best because it feels encapsulating of what this show can be in one episode -- funny (the whole Comic Con sequence), romantic (the date), humane (Cecil's strand), surprising(ly brutal) (the way they lead into that whole climatic fight), and also just mature about what being a superhero in everyday life can entail (the pre-credit talk in the dorm).
Struggling with this show. It's not keeping my interest enough to remember to watch another episode nor during the ep itself. The most interesting part was the Viltrumite showing up. It's starting to run it's course with me.

Episodes like this show how selfish and void of empathy people in Hollywood are. I've lost track of the amount of times someone in a Hollywood show say "you couldn't possibly know how I feel". Do writers not understand empathy at all? Or is it such a trope that they don't even think? Also, they think the right thing for Mark's girlfriend to ask for is that he spends time with her and not saving lives? If I had a story hero partner, I'd be proud and grateful for ANY time spent with them, not give them a hard time about it.
