They better revive Omniman because this is getting booooring
I don't know if I haven't noticed it before or if it just started this episode, but the dialogue feel so unnatural
This one is somehow more rough, than the previous one.
Scenes lost: direction; transition; they no longer are able to sell movement, speed and weight; pace, hell even comedic timing is gone.
Non-combat animation never was Invincible strongest part, but dear lord they are skipping so much frames right now.
Characters going through the trauma would have been interesting, but not with that level of conflicts and depiction. Most of them feel forced, even through majority of them were set up in season 1. I don't know how they manage to do that.
God needs a book on architecture, that's her only problem it seems. And I call bs on unstable ground excuse... 3 meters away from the building? The ground with concrete pipe (3-5 ton) on it was fine for 6 years, but couldn't take a weight of a fountain? What?!
If I were Cecil I wouldn't run around in search of some magic sound kryptonite when you have... Atom Eve that can rearrange realities and people! Literally. Her special made Omni-man less of a problem, now I'm not sure it was their intention.
We need a little bit more, please! But anyways, good chapter. Waiting for next week.
lot going on here, right now. Not sure if it was more seamless in the comics, but it kind of got overwhelming at time. Especially this stuff the Lizard gang or whatever they are called. I'm sure it will factor in later, but all of that felt kind of random.
Heh, while this series has never been shy about the obvious references/comparisons to other characters, Darkwing was totally on the nose when it came to making him clearly this show's version of Nightwing.
Good to know Atlantia has done away with the whole dated "Marry the widow of the king you killed" tradition and instead just does some old-school "trial by combat" instead! Fun hearing Tatitana Maslany as the voice of the queen.
Something will no doubt go down between Rex and Immortal.
Eve realizes that there can be unintended consequences if you don't have all of the info: no matter what your intentions are.
Mark and Debbie both need therapy, among other things. Nolan did a number on both of them for sure.
Angstorm's current plan is to find all of the Mark's from the various universes and cook up a good way to take down Invincible!
