Nothing will ever compare to the original. But I don’t understand why people are hating on this so much. I like Hilary’s character, it´s giving me Ted Mosby vibes. And the English guy has a potential to be a likable and funny part of the show. Let’s see what the other episodes bring.
Btw still better TV show pick for Kim Cattrall than the SATC reboot.

Glad I gave the first two episodes a go. I like the cast and already feel a little invested in them after barely an hour of show. The two episodes got a couple of laughs and more then enough chuckles out of me. It's impossible to live up to the expectations of it's predecessor and the show will have a hard time surviving hate and review bombing, but just give it a chance yourself. What's an hour of your life?

Not really feeling it at all.

No chemistry between them, British guy is really forcing it. Haven't even laughed once... I'll give it a few more, but at this point it's just very flat and uninspired.

Really enjoying this so far. Makes reference to the original but is also treading its own ground. This episodes exploration of the concept of fomo within our present digital era is very solid and a fun idea to look at.

"FOMO" was annoying 10 years ago. Faux-trends.. blech. But this episode isn't really about FOMO so title aside it's a solid next step. Honestly though for a mini-series I tend to want to be blown away. After all the whole point is you don't leave anything on the table. Everything hits hard because you're metaphorically only getting one shot at this. There were touches I liked such as the genuine bonding between the guys once the pretension has been stripped away. The genuine similarities between our protagonist and one of the male leads. There were cheesy touches that were more fun than annoying like the sister's optimistic proclamation at the end. Unfortunately narrative I don't care about these characters that much.

Sid is adorable and Valentina is inoffensively slutty. Sophie and Ellen are both and I'm not sure how else to say this except "main character energy". Jesse is there to be date-bait and Charlie is the comedy. I like Charlie though. He's not the only one I like but it's two episodes and it's the only character with any identifiable interesting traits.

had to comment on the irony of trying to update a show for 2022 by including songs by Train

I liked this a lot better than the Pilot episode. Hilary Duff is great in her role and I will definitely continue watching.
