Fargo: Season 2

2x06 Rhinoceros

"Rhinoceros is a play by Eugène Ionesco, written in 1959. Over the course of three acts, the inhabitants of a small, provincial French town turn into rhinoceroses; ultimately the only human who does not succumb to this mass metamorphosis is the central character. The play is often read as a response and criticism to the sudden upsurge of Fascism and Nazism during the events preceding World War II."

One of the rare show that just keep getting better. This episode is crazy good. Can't wait for the next one quite frankly. This is a very well done show, after the first (great) season, I thought they would run out of juice at some point but that is not the case at all...

"Rhinoceros" is by far the best episode of season two so far, feeling like a return to form after what has been a poor season up to this point, in my opinion. Tension is at an all-time high, and the writing is back to a high-quality standard, aside from Karl Weather's odd and excessive drunken ranting. Unfortunately, the use of split screens is also at an all-time high, though used in a somewhat creative manner at times.

Overall, this is a great episode.
