Elaine is unsettled when she learns that one of her patients informed Lauren about her imminent death - he thinks he has a gift and can sense if people are going to die. Kevin gets interrogated by the police, but Rob and Driver wonder if he really is the murderer. Harrison takes his plan to frame Kevin to the next level. He gets his bag and plants some incriminating evidence in it. Jack makes the mistake of telling Harrison his reasons for thinking that Kevin isn't the murderer.
Harrison pushes Rob in the direction of the murder weapon, knowing it will lead to them believing Kevin to be the murderer. He's planted at Kevin's Gran's grave. A rookie mistake though, threatens the investigation. Kevin continues to be interrogated. A burglar gets more than he bargained for when a desperate housewife seeks revenge on her husband Can Cherry unravel the truth before events spiral out of control?
The papers are blaming a police botch up for the release of Kevin from custody. Rob gets it in the neck from DCI Driver. Harrison suggests that Jack may somehow be involved, so he's next for questioning. Karen and Mrs Tembe are both unsure about Kevin returning to work. Karen also gets involved with a fraught bride to be on her wedding day. Her father doesn't want anything to do with the wedding, due to the fact the his daughter is a lesbian, and 'marrying' another woman.
Immie is attacked in the street for her phone. The guy scrapes her skin with a needle. She then gets very panicky over going out, and has to get tests for among other things HiV. Rob and Karen jeopardize their jobs as they try to find out who the scumbag was, and Karen doesn't handle it at all well. Bored while out with baby Joe, Zara joins a mothers exercise group 'Mothers Kicking Ass', and gets very competitive.
An elderly woman wakes up in the shed. It seems her husband is punishing her. He even threatens to burn her. Cherry gets suspicious when she sees bruises on her arm, but the lady is about to get her own back when her husband gets a heart attack. It's 'Diversity Week' and Freya is going on the local radio to talk about her Blog. She is described as a 'Lesbian Blogger' though, and the radio host is quite offensive in her homophobia. Zara has a typically frustrating day interviewing prospective nannies.
Elaine goes to a posh country health spa and meets her sister. Unfortunately she has also arranged to meet her other sister there. The two sisters really don't get on though, but will Elaine get them to make peace. The day involves both of them having to be wheelchair bound at some point to cover up years of lies. The day gets worse though, when both husbands turn up. Elaine also meets some guy who's hanging around the bar!
It's the day of Karen's house warming party, so what could go wrong this time? Well, first a pigeon crashes into her conservatory roof, then the next door neighbor arrives wearing the same dress! Jack invites a friend, who tells a mate who puts it on the Internet! Zara and (mainly) Daniel spend the evening trying to assemble a Dinosaur lamp. Immie gets dumped on the Internet, so Kevin helps her get her own back.
