One of the best episode this season. I don't get the hate for Maisie Williams but no surprise there since fans seem to look for excuses not to like the new episodes.
Whoever this Maisie Williams is, she's terrible.
why the people started to hate doctor who now?
It doesn't make sense for someone to forget their name and background even after hundreds of years. The writer hasn't sat down and contemplated the philosophical depth of aging and it's effects over time or understood brain biology. Sorry, but i think learning about those are a prerequisite when you're writing about these kinds of concepts.
But i'll give some benefit of the doubt and head-canon that because she was a teenager when she was made immortal that her brain is always in a half-developed state and so her memories are more fractured too, i guess.
Ugh.
"Me" is a terrible name to give a character. It also makes the character and the writer seem smug.
Instead of writing a likeable and deep character, which also makes people like the episode and character more (basic writing) we have a sassy arrogant annoying immortal girl.
Ugh.
She's not THAT bad, but still.
There is some depth about her losing her children, only it's mostly dealt with in a flashback.
There is some depth and genuine feeling that Ashildr is angry with the doctor and bitter after what she's been through and what the doctor did to her. The doctor is also witnessing his mistake, and won't even fully own up to it really, still blind to the consequences that have befell his actions.
Ashildr didn't even think about if she might be wrong and this lion guy she's with is bad, and didn't have a plan if that were so.
It's nice to see Ashildr become more good by the end.
A decent episode because it has a standard kind of plot. But this should been so much deeper and unique.
The acting in this episode is shit, someone really should have kept Maisie Williams away from those flames, that degree of wooden acting is a health and safety nightmare.
Surprised by all the hate, I thought Maisie Williams was quality. I hope that, when Clara leaves in a couple of months (a very sad day), he goes and finds her again to be the new assistant.
i thought maisee williams was fantastic and i have the critis reviews with me, thats enough!
Hmm I love Doctor Who.
But having "Maisie Williams" on the show wasn't a plus.
I like Maisie Williams when she plays arya but in doctor who she just looks kinda weird with trying to be mature and all. And that dress she wore i had to laugh seeying her wear it.
Hope she doesn't pop up much on the show.
I prefer the doctor and clara.
Only the last scenes were tolerable, the rest of the episode was A MASSIVE MEH. Pitty.
This episode was terrible. I really like Maisie Williams, but she is way better in GoT than here. In DW she acted like shit...
The last look! it's the goodbye look :( And yeah because of Maisie Williams the episode was boring :)

Still don't get all the negative comments, this episode was really good (not least because Clara wasn't around). It was something different, sure, but that's actually a good thing with a show like this that can get very repetitive at times.
