The doctor saving Davros is a dramatic if unnecesary and maybe even annoying idea of interfering with a villain's backstory. Maybe even being instrumental in Davros becoming who he is? Whether through leaving him or leaving him the screwdriver. I really don't like all of this. And Davros is kinda mopey when we meet him.
How did the doctor even intefere with Davros and Skaro? It should be time locked. If it's not time locked then the daleks would always be the scourge of the univerese all the time or even on the verge of taking over it always. That's the true threat of the daleks, that not even the timelords could stop them because the daleks had defenses and measures to stop that from happening, that's how powerful the dalek empire and Davros was, or made out to be.
And with how much time has been played with, it doesn't make sense for the 12th incarnation of the doctor to have interfered with an event when Davros was a kid.
Still, it's drama, i guess.
How is Davros even here? I thought he died in season 4? I guess not.
I like Clara working with unit on the situation.
I LOVE Missy. I love the doctor chose her for his will.
I liked the ending. I think Missy escaped with the vortex manipulator, and i thought she was the one who went back in time to kill Davros, but it's somehow the doctor. I don't think he would actually kill Davros though. If he did then that would be a HUGE moment, especially for a very inwardly compassionate incarnation of the doctor like this one.
I was thinking that Missy somehow saved Clara too, but what if she actually died? And Missy too? That would be big, and the doctor actually changing time to save them. But they made a big deal about the vortex manipulator, and Missy has survived a direct disintegration beam before.
