10x08 The Lie of the Land (3)

Is it just me, because i got used to this being a high quality show, but its getting to the point of unwatchable

Anyone else think the editing and music cues aren't as good this season? In the past I think they were more helpful in explaining the story. there are more abrupt cuts, less establishing shots and weird silences.

What a sad culmination of a 3 episode series. Another episode that makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever, had horrible pacing and was just BAD.. So the human race doesn't learn, they thought it was filming a movie? Nevermind the dead people... or the forced labor camps. WTF? So if Bill's brainwaves are doing this why not just use the Tardis and jump to another galaxy and a million years into the future? Nardole had access to the Tardis even by evidence of the device he had. But nope.. She's gotta die! hahah. Ridiculous. I started to worry that I no longer like DrWho but went to watch a few older episodes and love them... So, yeah, just horrible horrible writing.

I don't know what the fudge is going on this with this season. But Nardole (Nardie) is just too precious for this world lol

My 2 cents on the last regeneration issue: Missy is gonna make a "selfless" sacrifice and give the doctor her/his remaining regenerations, if there are any left.

i enjoyed this episode more the second time i watched it but its not as iconic as other episodes or rememberable.

I hope Nardole stays it's nice to have companions with different reasons to follow the doctor. Him and bill show different aspects of the doctors personality.

Would have loved to see this become a 2 parter. It's an interesting concept, and I don't think they explored it as much as they could. Would have liked to see how the Monks took over, how the Doctor reacted, and set up his plan. Instead we got a bunch of exposition and narrative.

This episode was quiet enjoyable comparing to the previous few. 7.5-8 stars

The previous episode was quite good. So no one commented on that. So here they are to bitch about this one lol.

Missy is the greatest character since the last doctor's episodes! Hope she will be the next doctor, so for the first time doctor will be a woman!!
