FUCK YEAH I WISH I WOULD'VE TAPED MY REACTION WHEN I SAW CONSTANTINE AGAIN
If there's one thing this show proved with this episode - besides that it's an abstolute must-see and a joyride all through - is that Constantine needs to come back. It's clear this show came on air too early and I think that now, after Iron Fist, Defenders, and everything else, the world is ready for Constantine's return... I mean... Black Lightning gets a show... Why not Constantine.
Also... more Legends, more Rory, more Snart (which won't happen alas), more, more more.
Jax leaving the show feels right. He worked because he was a team with Stein and they had amazing chemistry. They were an iconic duo and I'll miss them as a team, but with Martin's departure it's okay to see Jax leave.
If someone had told me 2 years ago that Legends of Tomorrow would become my favorite DC/CW show, I'd have laughed in their face. And yet, here we are. This show makes me laugh, cry and chew nervously on my fingernails more than any of the other three. I can't believe how much it's improved since season 1. I'm so glad I stuck with it through all its early ups and downs.
Vikings worshipping a creepy-ass blue toy is a downright ridiculous concept in theory, but it worked so well! It was hilarious and exciting.
When are Sara and Ava hooking up? I loved every single moment between them. Seeing Ava with her hair down (which was on my wishlist for this season) was great. And I guess we're out of the we-hate-each-other phase and in the saving-each-other-complimenting-each-other-and-looking-at-each-other-softly phase. That's my favorite one. What a good ship.
Jax is gone! No! Baby! My heart is broken. I hate it when characters I've grown attached to leave. It chips away at my soul. I'll miss him so much. His last scene with Sara was beautiful, and so was his conversation with young Stein. Gave me all the feels.
I vaguely remember Constantine from that one episode of Arrow. Is he going to stick around? That'd be interesting. Maybe I should finally watch his show? I generally avoid shows that were cancelled after 1 season, so I've kind of been putting it off. We'll see.
This show's not coming back until February (and I'm excited for Black Lightning as much as the next person, but I'd rather have LoT back sooner), so unfortunately, we have a long wait ahead of us. Sigh.
And, for the third time this week, Happy Holidays to you all!
Top-notch! I fucking love this show! Really, there're no words to describe how much I love these guys and this amazing show! And this episode is the proof.
When I thought this show couldn't get any weirder, this episode happens: "Beebo hungry", rotfl. I was in tears for a good 5 minutes. Man, I love this freaking show so much! I'm addicted to this nonsense. Only Legends of Tomorrow can use such a stupid and ridiculous plot and turn it into such an amazing and entertaining episode. Keep on smoking what you're smoking, writers!
The intro was insanely hilarious and the subtle Arrow soundtrack when Young Stein used the bow, lol. His "Great Scott" and the reference to Back to the Future had me excited. I hope they make a BTTF episode happen someday soon.
Such a Legend-esque episode. It had everything in just 42 minutes. And John freaking Constantine as a cliffhanger. I knew he was coming but the moment I heard that lighter flick I lost my shit. I love Matt Ryan and Constantine and I'm ready to drive demons away, kick 'em in the bollocks and spit on them when they're down, so bring it!
This show never stops surprising me in the weirdest way possible. Vikings worshipping a freaking huggable toy, Damian Darhk pretending to be Odin, Sara's unusual orders as a captain, Sara and agent Sharpe teaming up, incredibly emotional Stein-Jax scenes, amazingly funny Leo-Rory combo, a freaking alternate universe, warming Christmas dinner, Ray telling Vikings about climate change, Jax leaving the family, "Beebo lo-lo-loves you" while running away from Vikings. That surpasses Nate randomly eating a cheeto. I lost my shit. Tears of laughter were rolling down my cheecks. I had a fit of laughter and I couldn't get it under control. And it's still going on. The fight with the Vikings and the sounds coming from Beebo, lol. How is this show even real? Man, I loved every minute of it.
The episode was a palette of emotions for me. After a week, I thought I was finally getting over Stein's death. Never have I been so wrong! That hit me pretty hard. It was like salt in a wound. Too soon. I need time to process. One moment I was rolling on the floor, the next I had alien goo in my eye. They played with my emotions the same way a cat plays with ball of wool.
We don't deserve Stein. He's an amazing paternal figure, not only in the present, but throughout history. His speech to Jax was heartbreaking. Exactly the same he gave to him when he died. And that last Firestorm hand clasp in front of the fire. That was beautiful.
We lost Stein last week and now we lose Jax? Wtf? I hope he's not gone for good. He's gotta come back, after all, he's the Waverider's mechanic. That speech was lovely. That metaphor about broken and screwed-up pieces was so touching. Legends really is a family. And did I hear it right? Did Sara say "Damn right, little brother!"? Lovely. I love how close they're.
I lost my shit with "Beebo hungry" but seeing Neal McDonough as Odin just broke me. I lost my ability to speak coherently at that point. He keeps on bringing his A-game. I love every minute he's on screen.
That alternate reality thingy was crazy. Mallus seems really menacing. His voice gives me the chills. Not only Constantine, they should bring the Winchesters too. This seems an all hands of deck situation.
I love Ray and his boundless optimism. He's the absolute best. That Beebo scene almost kills me.
"It is I, Beebo, risen from the grave. Yes, Jesus is the one true God which doesn't mean science or evolution isn't real. Anyway, you need to return to Greenland, which, will soon be melting thanks to global warming, which is also real".
I need a Beebo toy now. How long til I can buy one? Btw, what would've happened if his batteries run out?
This episode is the best Christmas gift we could've ever had. But now we have to wait two freaking months?!?! This should is like a drug and they can't take it away from me for do long.
Have a happy Beebo Day, everybody!
I got the chills every time Beebo spoke because he sounded like the Crypt Keeper
So we get a rift into another dimension (Supernatural, Jack son of Lucifer) and we see it all in dark as if it burned and some dead tree (Stranger Things, Season 1 Upside world). We get some Odin from Asgard (Thor, the 1st movie)...so i guess wirtters ran out of ideas (darn...so soon!?). And do we get at the end "a crossover" with Constantine (wait what...how is it a crossover since Constanine is over for...2 year now i think)
God this show is amazing!!! Its fun, heartfelt, emotional... and all around just plain fun. And hot Damn THAT John Constantine tease at the end!!!
Only 3 of the original legends are left. That feels... incredibly appropriate
OMG this episode was so much fun!! Again they are sorta mentioning Marvel, Odin and the valkery, also back to the future must love this episode and the ending OMG Constantine i was so happy!! Hope he'll become a more regular one, love it that Leo is back too hope he'll stay. I am sad that Jax is leaving, hope we'll see him again, cant wait for next week that's for sure!
The end... JOHN CONSTANTINE!!!
Would love to have had a second series, joining those massive crossovers in the DC universe shows. Maybe?
I’m gonna miss jack but hearing that music again and seeing Constantine made me so happy
Oh boi, the Martin puppet with Mick killed me. I loved when they put the arrow theme when young Stein took the bow and shot, this was lit. Overhaul, a great and amusing episode, with a really great ending (Yes Constantine !)
Wow, this was moronic as fuck, even for Legends of Tomorrow (often low) standards: Vikings worshiping a plush toy? Come on...
Now also Jax is gone, I really hate that the original team keeps breaking apart and I still feel that Rip needs to be at the helm, it just isn't the same with Sara doing that.
At least the episode, despite being another dumb-fest, was entertaining, and that special appearance by John Constantine (the very same actor form the cancelled show!) at the end sure made it worth to watch the whole thing.
This show is so ridiculous, and I completely appreciate it. My insta-ships paid off episodes later. And two members of the rainbow brigade (at least).
Loophole? What I say? Hmmmmm
