I really missed these idiots.
"Your salad sucks"
Welcome back Legends!
The Legends are finally back. Yay!!!
I've assumed since the end of season 2 that they would just get on with fixing the anomalies as another Legends mission... only to be surprised immediately when Rip showed up with his Time Bureau. Even though I think the Legends deserve a little more credit for saving fricking time twice, having them "disbanded" was a nice wrinkle.
It was a bit odd to see Ray and Sara's "after being Legends" civilian lives (I was hoping those were only day jobs). It was also surprising to see that Nate was suddenly dumped, but surely there is more to the story, especially with Amaya's crazy amount of power now (as seen at the end). And Mick finally got to enjoy Aruba, even if it had to end as well.
I like this new role Rip has and think the story can be great fun with the Legends as this crazy but effective group that doesn't know the meaning of going by-the-book.
I also have to say I really appreciate all the comedy and the fact that this show doesn't shy away from it. There are so many superhero shows and films now, saturation is a looming concern in the back of my mind - yet when it comes to the CW's Arrowverse, the shows don't feel the same. This funny, over the top one contrasts with all the dramatic seriousness of Arrow and The Flash or with the themes of these shows and Supergirl as well. They all have a different tune, which makes them all the more enjoyable to watch.
Last but not least... Sara really has consolidated herself as my favourite. They did a great job of turning her from badass team member to badass leader last season and that is continuing now. Can't wait for more!
This show's season premiere was a gazillion times more fun and entertaining than the season premiere of THE FLASH. Fun dialogue, great cast chemistry, zany plot. It's a great alternative to the usual doom and gloom and navel-gazing to be found elsewhere in the CW world.
The Thing I hate about this show and every other DC Series it's that is made for 10 Year old Kids. I know that is the mainly audience for Superhero Movies and Series, but i would like it if they make them a little bit more darker.
When you think it cannot possible get any worse, they pull a Season Premiere like this... absolutely terrible...
Biggest smile on my face. I've really missed these mentally incompetent idiots. I love this big dumb show so much.
I'm cool with the cliffhanger ending in like two minutes with no-beard Rip appearing through a portal while a dinosaur runs amuck at his back only to disband the team. Come on Rip, give them a little credit, they saved the world twice. Anachronisms are not a big deal.
The whole time bureau thing reminds me if MiB and it's a cool addition, though they're basically jerks.
I really love the writers going meta and keeping on last season's goofiness that made this show so good and entertaining.
Sara is a badass, as always. Ray's still adorable. Stein is going to be a grandfather and he makes an amazing team with Jax. Rory's still the best. And Nate, well, he misses Amaya. And the latter is suffering from a crazy amount of power summoning an army of creatures to defend her village.
"Your salad sucks" and "agent hotcakes" were amazing and had me rolling. Hilariously funny. As well as "We came, we saw, we kicked Caesar's ass". I love Nate and Ray's bonding. That's bromance.
I loved the new motto: "Sometimes we screwed things up for the better". New slogan for the intro please. This is what makes this show so great.
Beware! Do not mess with Rory's best feature, he might hold a grudge against you. Btw, I loved that he finally got to go to Aruba. He deserved it.
I loved seeing the Legends work on a normal job. But it was fun as hell to see Sara working at Sink and Shower Stuff and imagining sliding his boss' throat. Gotta love her.
One episode on and I'm addicted. I can't stop watching these idiots with special abilities screw things up even worse.
I'm guessing Rip is totally covering for Rory stealing his portal watch thingy and I'm sure he made the Time Bureau miss Caesar on purpose. And Mallum? Is she Lily's baby? I've got a bad feeling about Stein. He said he'd make it to the birth. Bad feeling.
Rip couldn’t be captain so he left saying Sarah was better only to 15 minutes later (5 years later) come back with a new company instead of a team just to disband his old team that he’s no longer the captain of. Tf?
I can't get enough of the shenanigans that the legends pull! And the bromance between Ray and Nate, yes continue that! I love it!
Funny episode. So daft, but still good for the likes of moi
I love these idiots! Mick Rory, Nate Haywood, and Ray Palmer are still my favorites!!

I can honestly say Mick is the main reason I watch this show.
