my favorite episode already and it has so much of everything I love about it, god this season is on fire on episode 3 already!
Mitch wearing that Mick Foley sweater was the best part.
I can't handle the bullying. Eyes rolling.
Oh, wow, Daniel and Johnny are even doing fist bumps now :) And Johnny's Eagle Fang Dodge Caravan :D It's so nice to see Johnny invited to the LaRusso's <3 And Daniel and Johnny are even talking about "girls" (Johnny and Carmen).
I was super confused that that new kid joined Cobra Kai instead of Miyagi-Do. I though he was the brother of one of Robby's bad friends (the two "morons"). Now, I finally realized that Shawn was the guy who Robby met in Juvy. Everything makes a lot more sense now :D
It's kinda really a wonder that Johnny's crazy training sessions work out. Those mattresses didn't really help much (just try not to miss them xD).
It's interesting how Miguel tries to impress Daniel while Sam even directly confronted Johnny (Johnny was provoking her but she was even mean to him). I'd say that's because Sam comes from a wealthy family and doesn't have anything to prove while Miguel has it much harder. But it's definitely nice that Daniel and Miguel got along that well :) Actually even a bit to well: Johnny seemed quite upset at the end... :o Johnny would really need Robby - then this shouldn't have hurt him that much.
Daniel really didn't take a straight path (I even forgot that he spend the money on the plane tickets before he spent it again on Mr. Miyagi's bonsai store. I also liked Johnny's quote to Sam about being in the back seat vs. taking ones own path. Good for Johnny that he can finally enjoy live again and can do what he wants to do. And he even managed to unfreeze things with Carmen :) I wonder how Miguel will react when he finds out :D
Johnny: "You gotta grow a pair ... of legs" :D
PS: The tatoo on Terry Silver was on his left side in two shots but in one shot it was on his right side (if I saw that right). Not a biggie in any way but I wonder how that happened.
For whatever reason, I can't stand Larusso's daughter. Seems as though Miguel has put quite a few pounds on since the last one.
