Hard not to smile through most of this episode.
What a wonderful way of continuing a legacy. The same actress who played the “bell ringer” girl from Part II returns for a tiny, yet poignant moment here — just as her moment in the film. So awesome.
And is ANYBODY else wanting Daniel and Kumiko to be a thing?! Loving their chemistry.
You can tell Netflix has put money into this season :ok_hand:
Love the way they get the old characters to do cameos and Dee Snyder was fantastic
So many Karate Kid 2 cast! Love it!
I see they've started to pull random '80s stuff out of their asses, just for the sake of nostalgia. Not sure if that's a good thing, but let's see how it pans out.
Those missing chapters of Miyagi-Do seemed a bit too cheeky and on the nose, clearly put there as a plot device, to act as a Deus ex machina later on in the show. They were definitely not subtle about this.
In a single episode, Sam went from being a badass bitch (which made her character much more interesting) to being back to her usual bland self. It's easy to see that one of her best attributes is speed, both in moodswings and at hiding from others. But then mama LaRusso made up for her daughter's poor performance when she had her surprisingly golden moment with Kreese. OH SLAP!!
I'm kinda tired of seeing the Cobra Kai kids always getting the upper hand. I'm sure the tables will turn, at some point, but it's getting repetitive. At least Johnny and Miguel doing their own thing is nice. And Robby is finally manning up, so cute! His character works better as a villain, and I think they're setting the path for it.
I know I'm complaining, but, as a whole, this episode was fun.
oh wow the brother is still alive!
Yes the missing chapters of Miyagi-Do. Amazing episode.
IMO the Diaz family is re-accepting Johnny a bit to fast but at least it seems to work out well so far. It's good that Johnny has another "mission" (helping Miguel to walk again) to prevent him from becoming a drunk again. His methods are obviously questionable but at least he's trying and so far it actually did help :D
Sam being scared like that was totally unexpected but then again completely understandable. It really sucked that Cobra Kai had a backup (including Tory) and Hawk has kinda reached a point of no return now... :o
I was concerned about Robby in the prison but it seems like Kreese's advice actually worked out.
The side story in Japan was great! I really liked the reconciliation between Chozen and Daniel. Maybe Daniel is now ready to team up with Johnny against Kreese? The final scene with Yuna was so heartwarming and emotional! <3
I feared that the final scene would end badly but Amanda was on fire and her slapping Kreese was so satisfying to watch :D
So good they should keep it up :)
This gotta be the best episode so far of this great season. So many amazing comeback, that hands up ending and the chozen vs la russo fight. But, most of all, 2 seasons after Anthony la Russo returns

Absolutely amazing episode. Netflix has done a great job bringing all the original cast members back.
