Can the people who rated the Episode more than a month before airing please explain how they already watched it?
Seriously...
I like several shows that are in production right now but when Billions airs I am forced into acknowledging that in comparison, the writing on the other shows are mediocre at best. Billions is deep brain stimulation without needing a drill.
Tbh that was pretty booring, i don’t like mike, it’s too clean,I need axe back.
This was largely boring. We'll keep watching, but it definitely feels like the show has jumped the shark.
Michael McKean is a good get for the show. Too bad it couldn't have been when Damian Lewis was still here as well.
"Axe's ruthlessness was almost reassurance."
It does feel like a spinoff.
They need to lean into making us hate Chuck even more for this to work and that's impossible without something/someones for us to love as much as we hate. That's the problem I see with this.
Speaking of, I thought Chucks father was securely behind bars?
The Chuck Rhoades side story is completely unnecessary. Hoping it doesn't continue watered down.
Now that was a really good episode, setting up some interesting stuff. Only danger I see is the series spiralling into a copy - paste of Chuck vs Axe, turned into Chuck vs Prince. But we'll see.
Already can tell the last season is not worth watching. It’s gonna be yet another show where the writers forgot it was entertainment and they just want to preach their progressive gospel. Entertainment writing isn’t the opinion column of the New York Times. Everything that made this show mildly interesting has evaporated.
We'll player... if you have to ask, you'll never know. ;-)
Weak! as an episode, as a setting a new "boss" and the writing was atrocious and filled with social justice warrior bs that has contaminated everything in Hollywood. That agenda is boring, ineffective, obvious and idiotic
Sunk cost fallacy will keep me watching, but this series should have ended with Axe walking past the camera into Switzerland.
not going to be the same without Axelrod!

It appears political correctness took over the writers. How disappointing...
