David Costabile, who plays Wags in Billions, directed this episode. What an episode it was. I love it.
I am always a great fan of stars making cameos on this series, especially when it's Maria Sharapova.
I find it hard to believe that Axe would take an untested drug like that. All of that was pretty silly.
This season feels so muddled. The artist storyline is so uninteresting - I don't give two shits about this artist, and I'd be ok if Wendy had less to do, honestly. It feels like Chuck barely has anything to do, other than look for a donor. (Side note - how fucking rare is his father's blood? Not one match among 16+ people, some of which are his direct offspring? Seems ridiculous.) Axe's feud with Prince is very forced from Axe's side - which is somewhat the point, but it doesn't make for a compelling angle. And what the hell is up with this romance/flirting/whatever between the two programmer nerds? It's just weird, and I doubt it will lead anywhere.
