Billions: Season 5

5x01 The New Decas

I actually am glad that everyone is aware they’re betraying each other. In the first episode no less!

The Wendy/Rhoades separation turning into a divorce makes me sad. Work it out.

I think people are being too critical of this episode. I guess it was a little slower than normal; spotty- but they're re-establishing their footing.

An average episode with almost no sequence with the previous one. I feel like the show was written backwards... I don't know. It just didn't feel right.

I hope the next one is better-- a lot better.

A bit surprising that they've revealed all the allegiances and betrayals in the first episode.

I'm additionally surprised that a WWE wrestler was allowed to talk about kayfabe. I also hate that I know what that is; I'm not even into wrestling, I'm just surrounded by people who are.

So are the Rhoades kids actually going to be characters now? It's been kind of funny how the son has visibly grown but the daughter has seemed to stay the same age since the beginning. EDIT: Really weird that they even bothered having the bit with the son getting drunk, as it led nowhere and was literally never mentioned again.

Oh my god, who wrote this st*ing pile of c*p around minute 20?

"We will proceute bla bla".
Really?!? For what? Using electricity? Because that is the only thing they are actually charging them with in the conversation.
Last time I checked that isn't illegal, no matter the amount.
Investing in someone who mines cryptocurrency wasn't either the last time I checked.
Everything else was just polemic, which proves that AGAIN, they have nothing!

The only way it could be illegal is if making money off stock-trades was the goal, but good luck proving that, especially that the people just using electricity to mine BTC were actually actively and knowingly involved...

There are sooo many things Axe could have done which Chuck could have dug up, why is it that its AGAIN something not even illegal the storyline has to choose...

If a someone goes bankrupt for buying electricity off the grid and reselling it to their customers, you should fire and sue the cities lawyers who wrote the contracts...

At first i thought they caught them stealing electricity, which actually is illegal, but there was no mention of that in the "interview" afterwards.
