Camille visits Isaac to wish him luck on his liquor license hearing. After failing in her attempt to talk Ben into helping Isaac out, Camille overhears John mention he has poisoned the committee against Isaac. She skips her important anatomy exam to attend the hearing. The already prejudiced committee gives Isaac a hard time, but he is granted the license when both Camille and Ben vouch for him. Ben admits to Isaac that Camille convinced him to testify, and asks his brother not to let him down. Camille confronts John about trying to sabotage Isaac with a slap in the face! Lily won't let Simon blame himself for the fire, and is grateful that he saved her life. Despite his resistance, Lily convinces Simon to come to the house so Luke can see he's all right. Lily invites Simon to stay at the house while he recuperates, and Lucinda thinks Lily has lost her mind! Holden calls, and Lily downplays the fire and keeps mum about Simon staying at the house. Simon promises to leave before Holden returns. Tension builds between Tom and Margo, who are on opposite sides of the stalker case. Tom warns Chris not to talk to Margo. At WOAK, Henry surprises Katie with a "Portrait of a Stalker's Victim" segment. When she refuses to do it, a fuming Henry insists she owes him! Margo calls Tom to warn him about the show. Tom frantically tries to stop it from airing, but it's too late.
After being warned of Molly's manipulative nature by Julia, Jake takes her out to dinner but gets frustrated when all she wants to do is talk about her plans for payback.
Katie tries to warn Craig about Carly's bad reputation, but Craig encourages his sister to become friendly with Carly. Katie confronts Carly, accusing her of manipulating Craig. Carly assures her that Craig can take care of himself. Carly happily settles into her new digs. After Craig discovers the microchips in Carly's earrings, he excitedly kisses her. Katie walks in on the kiss and demands to know what's going on, but Craig reveals nothing. Lucinda welcomes Rose to her home and asks a skeptical Matthew to keep an eye on Rose for her until she returns. Lucinda leaves and Rose gets Matthew to loosen up. They bond and enjoy the "good life" together. On the brink of making love, Simon pulls away from Lily. He insists that he doesn't want Lily like this - he wants to be with her when she's free to be with him, no strings attached. Simon gives Lily one of his grandfather's love letters to hold onto until they're together again. She leaves. Holden is rocked when Lily returns and confirms that she was with Simon - and she asked him to stay in Oakdale. Holden decides to move out. Katie approaches Simon in the Lakeview bar. She warns him not to try to break up Holden and Lily - it's not worth it. Simon and Lily can't stop thinking about one another, while Holden is distraught about leaving. Meanwhile, Lucinda and Iva prepare to go to New Jersey. Iva fears that nothing will ever be the same for any of them again.
Jennifer tells Barbara that she's afraid that he's blowing her off because she refused to have sex with him. Barbara advises Jen not to have sex until she's ready. Adam and Hal discuss the state of the Munson household. Adam urges Hal to be nicer to Jen and asks Jen to do the same with Hal. Father and daughter reach an impasse, but Jen is quickly distracted - and elated - when Bryant calls to ask her to spend Halloween with him. Hal admits to Barbara that they're going to the party to keep an eye on Craig. Hal argues with Barbara when he finds out that Barbara went to Craig for help with Jennifer. Barbara walks out after the disagreement. Lucinda asks Rose to impersonate Lily and get Simon to leave town and Rose agrees to do it - for $10,000! Lucinda reluctantly consents, but warns her not to do anything stupid. Katie visits Simon and invites him to come to Craig's party with her - since Lily is going with Holden. He's tempted but refuses. "Lily" visits Simon and asks him to leave town ASAP. He seems incredibley disappointed and then declares that he'll go, but he wants to make love to her first. "Lily" gets swept up in the passion - until Simon tosses her out into the hallway without her shirt. He knew it was Rose all along! Rose must borrow a shirt to get home. Lily can't stop thinking about Simon. Lucinda and Lily argue over Simon and Lily becomes upset when she realizes that Lucinda tried to bribe Simon to leave Oakdale. However, she's impressed with Simon's determination to stay and fight for her. When Rose returns, she informs Lucinda that the mission was a failure. A frustrated Lucinda places a call to the INS about Simon.
Lily isn't pleased that Holden punched Simon - and that Rose's lipstick is on Holden's collar! Rose tells Lily about how Simon could tell the difference between them - but Holden still can't. Holden takes Lily home, and Simon runs into a tipsy Katie. They bond and go back to the garage, where they listen to music and drink. Simon and Katie are about to kiss when an INS agent shows up and informs Simon that he's in trouble. At home, Lily confesses that she needs to see Simon again and thinks Holden needs to be honest about his feelings for Rose. Back at the party, Jake confronts Emily about dressing up like Vicky and the bizarre phone calls. Emily denies, until Chris shows up with a photograph of Vicky which he found in Emily's coat.
Chris and Emily wake up after a night of lovemaking. Chris is still in the mood, but Emily tries to act like nothing ever happened. She's embarrassed, but he appeals to her to continue to see him in secret.
At Java, Craig advises Bryant not to begin a sexual relationship with Jennifer and to find another girl to fulfill his sexual needs. Bryant "introduces" Craig to Isaac. Isaac and Craig face off when Bryant steps away. Ruby comes in to use the phone and Bryant is instantly smitten. John visits Andy, who tries to push him away. John refuses to leave and asks Andy for his forgiveness. Andy tells John off, but later confesses how scared he is. Holden and Luke share a bonding moment, which touches Lily. Holden refuses to watch the kids for the weekend when Lily takes off with Simon. Rose comes to the farm looking for Holden. Emma is stunned when Rose declares her love for Holden. Rose runs into Holden and apologizes for the elevator incident. Holden tries to convince Rose that she doesn't want to share his life with him, which is a life on the farm and not with Lily's money. Rose won't be put off and plants a steamy kiss on him. Later, Holden recalls dancing with and making love to Rose. Simon finds Katie sleeping in the back seat of the car. Katie tells him what happened with Craig and admits she had no place else to go. She doesn't expect to move in; she just wants someone to talk to. She covers when Lily shows up and leaves. Lily tells Simon they can't go away right now because of her family and he's understanding. She's grateful and they share a hot kiss, which Katie watches. Katie calls the INS to ask how to keep someone from being deported.
As Ruby and Bryant continue to flirt, the sexual tension grows between them. Jennifer arrives and quickly lets Ruby know that Bryant is her boyfriend. Bryant confronts Jennifer about telling Barbara he was pressuring her to have sex. Jennifer admits she was scared because she was tempted. He's pleased to hear this, but Jen insists she's still not ready. Bryant vows to be patient with her. Ruby watches this all and intends to see Bryant again. Tom tells Margo that he'd like to get back to the law, where he could make a difference. Katie shows up and Margo assumes she's crawling back to apologize. She questions Tom about immigration and is thrilled when Tom mentions that marriage is a way to keep someone from being deported. Tom warns Katie of the penalties for being involved in a bogus marriage, but Katie blows it off. The passion builds between Lily and Simon and they are on the verge of making love with Simon pulls away. He has to admit to Lily that he slept with someone else. Lily reacts with anger and wants to know who it was. But Lily pulls herself together and says she can get past this. Simon decides Lily doesn't really care about him and they should call it quits. Lily passionately argues against this, but Simon reminds her the point could be moot if he is deported. Lily is determined to find a way to keep Simon in the States. Katie returns and Lily leaves, promising to work on Simon's INS problem. Katie tells Simon that she has the perfect way to keep him from being deported.
Lily asks Lucinda to use her political pull to keep the INS away from Simon. Lucinda blames Simon for the problems the Snyders are having and reveals she is the one who originally alerted the INS about Simon. Lily declares she'll go to Australia with Simon and take the kids with her, but Lucinda calls her bluff. Lily warns Lucinda that their relationship is in jeopardy if Lucinda doesn't help out Simon and storms out. Katie tells Simon that he should marry her so he won't be deported. Simon refuses, but Katie insists she's not expecting a "real" marriage. Katie claims she's not in love with him and isn't bothered by the fact that Simon's heart belongs to Lily. Simon tries to tell Katie that he has nothing to offer her, but she insists she wants to help out a friend. Simon rejects the idea and she gives up for the moment. When Simon agrees to let Katie stay in the car until she can figure out her next step, she lets him know that she wouldn't mind an encore of their night together. Craig asks Carly if she knows what brought Lowe back into her life. Carly reveals Winston told her that someone tipped him off that she was in Oakdale. Carly vows she will get whoever is responsible for breaking up her and Jack. Craig decides not to show Carly the photo of Lowe and Julia. Jennifer, horrified that Barbara discussed her love life with Craig, tears into her mother. Hal defends Barbara's actions and Barbara apologizes. The threesome reaches a truce. Hal and Barbara reach an understanding as well, and it seems their marriage is finally back on track. Craig calls and convinces a reluctant Barbara to meet him at the Lakeview to discuss Julia. Meanwhile, a determined Carly searches Craig's apartment for the envelope addressed to Jack.
Jen and Bryant's date at Yo's is interrupted by Ruby. Ruby has her eye on Bryant and dances for him. Jen gets Bryant back, but he can't help watching Ruby's sexy sideshow. Holden tells Kim he's serious about leaving WOAK. Kim tells Holden she's considering hiring Molly back as an anchor and he agrees that's a good idea. Lily tries to convince an INS agent that she has the resources to ensure Simon a fair trial. But Agent Halliwell explains that Simon isn't entitled to a hearing at all. Katie plays homemaker, but Simon tells her a clean garage won't get them a future together. Katie tries to convince Simon to marry her to escape the INS. He refuses, but she kisses him. She reminds him she's available if he wants to escape the INS. He's considering it when Lily arrives with the news that the INS is coming to deport him. Jake gives Molly a teddy and asks her to move in with him. She wants to, but fears making another mistake with Abigail. He tries to convince her and asks her to mull it over. Jake and Molly find Adam and Abigail asleep on Jake's bed, with the video recording equipment running. Adam and Abigail reveal what they're doing and leave, forgetting to turn off the video recording. Molly admits to Jake that she saw Vicky in his apartment the other night. Jake comforts her and then goes to take a shower. Molly hears an ominous creaking and goes to investigate. She enters the darkened living room and confronts Vicky's ghost!
Jack tells a stunned Carly that he found out the story behind the newspaper picture and it meant nothing to him. Jack pretends he doesn't know who the man in the photograph is and he's not concerned. But Carly presses the issu, and Jack realizes Carly knows the photo was of Winston Lowe and Julia. Jack tells her it doesn't matter if Julia tipped off Winston or not, since Carly lied about being married in the first place. Carly insists they would be married right now if it weren't for Julia. Jack declares it doesn't matter; he has forgiven Julia and he doesn't love Carly anymore. He walks away, leaving Carly shattered. A desperate Lily turns to Tom for help at Simon's hearing. She's stunned when Tom realizes Lily's talking about the same man that Katie was thinking of marrying. Agent Halliwell comes to the police station to find out if Margo knows where Simon is. Lily and Tom arrive and convince Margo to come with them to stop Simon and Katie's wedding, not realizing that the INS is on their trail. Katie steals a suit from Craig and returns to the Old Mill, where Simon has been hiding. Jennifer and Bryant have arrived for a little romance, which a hiding Simon had no choice but to see. Katie announces to Bryant and Jen that she and Simon are getting married. Threatening to reveal Bryant's relationship with Ruby to Jennifer, Katie coerces them to be witnesses at the wedding ceremony. Bryant drives them to the courthouse, where Lily, Tom and Margo are waiting. Tom and Margo try to convince Katie this is a mistake, while Lily begs Simon not to go through with this. Simon tells Lily he's marrying Katie because this is the only way he can stay close to Lily. Lily doesn't think Katie is the answer. The judge enters and asks if the couple is ready to be married.
Carly confronts Julia, declaring her marriage is a mistake. Carly takes Julia to task for her deceit, and Julia defends her actions. Carly demands that Julia admit her "slip of the tongue" to Winston was no accident. Julia is shattered when Carly tells her that Jack will eventually leave her because of all the lies that brought them together. At Java, Craig runs into Jack and needles him about his wife's pregnancy and the state of his marriage. Jack talks to Isaac about Craig's hot microchips. Later, Isaac discovers them in the earrings. Craig offers to send Bryant to Montega for Christmas, but Bryant insists on paying his own way. Bryant runs into Ruby, who plants a hot kiss on him. Ruby approaches Craig and Bryant is stunned to see her flirting with his dad! Later, it's obvious that Ruby's "affection" for Bryant has ulterior motives. Jack returns home and is shocked to find Julia so distraught. A furious Jack wants to find Carly to set her straight, but Julia clings to him, begging him to stay. Carly returns to Craig and breaks down, admitting Jack will stay with Julia no matter what. While trying to convince Simon not to go through with a sham marriage to Katie, Lily realizes that Katie is the woman Simon had a one-night stand with. Lily warns Simon that Katie is no simple "solution," and he's better off getting deported and trying to return legally than getting involved with her. Simon decides not to marry Katie after all. Margo and Tom are relieved, but Katie is furious that Simon is allowing Lily to call the shots! However, as Simon is about to turn himself in to
Lucinda tells Holden to celebrate - Simon's being deported. Lucinda's optimistic that Simon's deportation means Holden and Lily will reconcile, but Holden's not so sure. Holden is surprised when Rose announces she's leaving town.
Hal and Barbara discuss the state of their marriage and continue to argue about Craig. They realize that it really is over between them, but decide not to break the news to the children until after Christmas. Lily reluctantly tells Holden that Simon married Katie to avoid being deported. Rose sincerely apologizes to Lily for everything that happened. Lily doubts they can forge a relationship as sisters, given that Rose is in love with Lily's husband. Rose offers to back off of Holden if that's what Lily wants, but Lily admits she can't interfere in Holden's life since she's pursuing Simon. They make a tentative rapprochement. Simon is frustrated he can't reach Lily. Katie has gone shopping to transform their apartment into a "home." Simon agrees to let her redecorate, but reminds her that their situation is only temporary. A gloating Holden shows up with a bottle of Scotch and warns Simon about Katie. Later, Katie plays the happy wife when INS Agent Halliwell arrives. Vicky appears to Molly in Madame Joleen's place, but before Vicky can give her message to Molly, Madame Joleen passes out. Jake and Donna didn't see Vicky. Adam and Abigail arrive with their news - they have proof of Vicky's ghost. They all watch the videotape, but Jake is still skeptical and escorts Madame Joleen out. He then asks Adam for the name of a ghostbuster so that he can see Vicky's ghost for himself.
Chris pleads Emily's case with Nancy, but Emily is sure the Hughes family will never accept her. Emily blows it with Nancy, but she does comes through and help Chris arrange a Christmas surprise for Nancy. Simon and Lily meet in a park, pretending they're not together. Lily is appalled that Katie wants a honeymoon, but Simon thinks it could help keep the INS away. Lily gives Simon permission to go on a trip with Katie. Simon promises to make everything up to her. Katie asks Craig to spring for a honeymoon. He will do it on the condition that Katie have dinner with him, Margo and their mom Lyla. Katie reluctantly agrees. Simon returns home to find that Katie has put up Christmas decorations. She breaks the news to him that they must spend Christmas with her family. He concedes, although he's less than thrilled about it. Ruby wants to keep the bracelet, but Bryant thinks they should return it to the couple who lost it. Bryant tries to play it off that the bracelet is worthless and offers to buy it from her for $300. She convinces him to pay $1500 for it and seals the deal with a kiss, which Jennifer witnesses. Jennifer runs out, unseen, and Bryant lifts $1500 from the Java register to pay Ruby. Ruby leaves and an excited Bryant calls Jennifer and asks her to meet him at the old mill. When he tells her he has a surprise for her, she puzzles him by revealing that she has a surprise of her own.
Isaac confronts Bryant about the missing $1,500. Bryant tries to explain, but Isaac fires him. Bryant promises to bring Isaac the money tomorrow and begs him not to tell anyone. But when Hal shows up and starts hassling Isaac for dirt on Craig, he reluctantly spills about Bryant's crime. Later, Hal arrests Bryant, despite Jennifer's protests. Denise and Hope ask Curtis to join Denise's dance classes, but he declines. Ben invites them to stay for dinner. Denise agrees and calls to invite Isaac as well. Isaac assumes Ben is on duty and is surprised to see him. Curtis decides to take the dance class in the hopes it will bring Ben and Denise back together. Lucinda is surprised on her birthday by Rose and Lily - with Sierra and Lucy in tow! Luke sees Lily and Aunt Rose together for the first time. Tom, Margo and Craig enlist Lyla's help for a family "intervention" to get Katie out of her sham marriage. Simon is reluctant to deal with the family drama, but Katie reminds him that Craig will only pay for their "honeymoon" if he shows. Katie tries to be festive, but Craig announces the real agenda for the evening. Katie's stunned that everyone is ganging up on her and Simon can't help but defend her. Craig and Simon face off. Tom has annulment papers, but Katie tears them up, determined to take on the INS. After Simon and Katie leave, she bursts into tears. Lisa, Kim, Bob and Nancy aren't really in the Christmas spirit - until Chris surprises them with Penny's arrival! Everyone is thrilled to see Penny, but not pleased when Emily shows up with Daniel. Penny is welcoming and reaches out to Emily, despite her past mistakes. Emily is touched by Penny's goodwill. Bob makes a special Christmas toast to the unexpected reunion.
Simon meets with the INS while Katie packs for their honeymoon. Agent Halliwell remains determined to nail Katie and Simon. Later, Katie comes on to Simon, but he rejects her - just in time for Halliwell to see. They cover and Katie assures Simon that after their honeymoon, Halliwell will never be able to get them for fraud. Craig gives Isaac $1,500 in the hopes he'll drop the charges against Bryant. Isaac refuses and states he will only drop the charges if Craig signs over his share of Java to him. Craig is furious and threatens to call in his loan. Isaac calls his bluff and when Craig storms out, Isaac places a call to Lisa. Bryant pleads Not Guilty and faces a hearing in two months. Against everyone's advice, Bryant rushes off to see Jennifer. Craig and Tom square off when Tom suggests that they let Bryant bail himself out of trouble for once. Hal insists that Jack meet with Carly to convince her to wear a wire to trap Craig. Julia tells Jack she's okay with it and he reluctantly goes. Carly is stunned when Jack apologizes for not believing her when she returned from Hong Kong. Carly accepts his apology and they realize it's the year anniversary of their engagement. He asks Carly to wear the wire to help them nail Craig. Hurt, Carly says Craig deserves her loyalty more than he does. Jack admits things will never be the same between them. He leaves, assuming she won't wear the wire, but she's conflicted. Later, Carly pays Julia a visit.
Carly apologizes to Julia for their last run-in. Julia admits she doesnt yet feel connected to her own baby. Carly assures Julia shell begin to bond with the baby once he/she begins moving. Carly believes Julia when she insists she didnt ruin her wedding to Jack on purpose. Jack returns home and is concerned that Carly was there, but Julia assures him it was fine. Jack and Julia ring in the New Year together, while Carly celebrates with Parker at the Lakeview. Rose offers to watch the kids so that Lily can follow the honeymooners. Katie and Simon board a train for their honeymoon trip. Simon is depressed, but unavoidably amused by Katies childlike excitement. Simon is surprised to spot Lily, incognito, across the aisle. Simon sends Katie on a food run and shares a moment with Lily. Lily vows to do whatever necessary to make their secret affair work. Simon assures her that Katie wont pose a problem for them. Simon and Lily begin to make love. Adam and Abigail bring Hugh-Dean, the ghostbuster, to Jakes. Jake is skeptical as Hugh-Dean wires the whole apartment and sets up a monitor in Jakes bedroom. As they watch the monitor, Vicky appears, and this time, everyone can see her! Despite Hugh-Deans warnings, Jake heads out to the living room to see Vicky. As Molly, Adam, Abigail, and Hugh-Dean watch, Vicky tells Jake she has missed him.
Bryant apologizes to Isaac and vows to pay him back. Isaac gives Bryant Ruby's letter, which contains a cryptic apology but proves nothing. Isaac confides in Lisa his predicament with Craig. Isaac is ecstatic when Lisa agrees to be his partner at Java. Holden leaves Isaac another message regarding Flashdance. Agent Halliwell grills Holden about Lily and Simon's relationship, threatening to deport Simon immediately if they're still involved. Though tempted to get revenge on Simon, Holden won't confirm anything. Lily discovers a wrapped anniversary present from Holden. Lily shows Holden the gift, which he realizes he bought for Rose. They laugh at the absurdity of their situation. Luke sees his parents together and assumes they have reconciled, and they must explain they haven't. Katie spots the inscription on the back of Lily's bracelet. Simon admits Lily followed him to Bay City, and Katie fears Lily has blown it for them. Agent Halliwell calls them into his office, where he tries to convince Katie to come clean or face the serious consequences. Katie keeps her cool with Halliwell, but later turns on Simon. Halliwell warns Simon that Katie is not the kind of girl who can live with the lie of a loveless marriage. Meanwhile, Katie confronts Lily about crashing her honeymoon.
Rose wants to give Holden the latest information Joe has learned about the horse, but Joe refuses to give her another excuse to see him. Rose defends her feelings for Holden. Holden gently explains what is going on with Lily to Luke. Rose arrives and diffuses the situation. Holden gives Rose the gift he bought for "Lily" months ago and she is thrilled. She gives him the envelope and he rushes off. Rose has renewed confidence in reuniting with Holden. Holden confronts Isaac with the proof he bought Flashdance with forged documents. Katie faces off with Lily, warning her to stay away from Simon before they all end up in jail. Lily reminds Katie that Simon is her husband in name only, but soon realizes Katie's really interested in Simon. Katie boasts that she has two years to make the marriage real - and there's nothing Lily can do about it! Lyla meets Simon and confesses she's worried about Katie. Lyla tells Simon about Katie's sad childhood and begs him not to break her heart. At home, Simon comforts Katie and assures her he will try to make their arrangement work. Jake refuses to believe he actually saw Vicky. Molly tells Jake he won't accept Vicky's ghost because that would mean admitting to himself that Vicky is dead. Molly leaves and Jake is stunned when Vicky appears to him, insisting that she wants him to believe in her.
Holden presses Isaac for information about Flashdance. Isaac reluctantly gives him the name Phillips, but cautions him to drop it. Holden turns to Hal for help, but he begs off. Molly confesses to Carly her fear that she will lose Jake to a ghost, and ponders moving out. Carly reveals she's selling the microchips tonight, without any police involvement. Molly warns her to be careful and watch out for Craig. In an effort to convince Jake that she is visiting from the other side, Vicky kisses him. Jake refuses to ever let her go again. She begs him to accept that she is a spirit, but gets too weak to stay and vanishes. A distraught Jake confides in Isaac that he's torn between two women - one who is alive and one who is dead. Jake returns home and Molly admits she thinks they should live apart until he believes Vicky is a ghost. He tells her that he does believe. Craig isn't pleased when he realizes that Lisa has bought him out as Isaac's partner at Java. Hal vows to prove Craig is up to no good. Craig calls Barbara and invites her to dinner. Barbara reveals to Craig that she and Hal are separating, and the two fall into a passionate kiss. Carly walks in on the kiss, and Craig and Barbara are too caught up to notice
Jake admits to Molly that when he touched Vicky it felt like they were back together. Abigail arrives and sees Molly's bags are packed. She begs Molly to reconsider Jake's offer to move in. Later, Jake confesses to Molly that he realizes his life with Vicky is over and his future is with Molly and Abigail. Isaac begins to have second thoughts about pressing charges against Bryant, but Jack insists it's too late to back down now. Isaac tells Jack this case against Craig is based on a personal vendetta about Carly. As things grow more passionate between Barbara and Craig, she puts on the brakes. Craig tries to seduce her, but she insists on telling the children before things progress any further. Mei-Lin returns and Craig assures her everything is under control. Carly overhears Craig tell Barbara that Carly has outlived her usefulness and Carly immediately sets up a meeting with Hal. Carly blurts out that she found Montgomery and Barbara in a clinch. They make a deal - she will wear a wire to trap Craig and Hal will work out a joint custody agreement. At the police station, Bryant and Jennifer look through mug shots and Bryant fingers Gabriel Frank. Hal fumes when he finds Jen there and drags her home. Hal attempts to reassure Jen about their situation at home, but a returning Barbara tells him to be honest. Jack returns to the police station and finds Carly there.
Barbara meets Craig for dinner and admits that she and Hal are separating. When the two share a passionate kiss, they don't realise that they're being watched by Carly.
Molly is getting ready to move out of Jake's, convinced that he will never be over Vicky. Jake shows up and manages to convince her that he knows Vicky is the past, and she and Abigail the future.
Julia is thrilled to feel the baby moving and rushes to tell Jack, but finds he and Carly together and leaves without alerting them to her presence.
Jack breaks off the kiss with Carly, telling her they have to concentrate on the mission. Unfortunately, a jealous Julia has already left a message for Craig that Carly is wearing a wire.
After telling Bryant she just can't wait anymore, Jennifer grabs him for a passionate kiss, then she shocks him by pushing him away and telling him their parents are having an affair.
Simon can't believe Lily is ready to be with him, and vows to end things with Katie tonight. They plan for Simon to be deported and relocate somewhere in Canada. Holden immediately realizes Rose is playing Lily, and she convinces him to play along for Halliwell. Later she reveals that Lily is with Simon at her behest, to get her off the fence. Holden admits to he may not wait for Lily to make her decision. Holden and Luke leave, and Lily returns to report to Rose she will leave Holden as soon as Simon tells Katie it's over. Katie turns to Henry for help in keeping Simon, and he wonders if she could be pregnant. Katie blackmails him into finding a doctor to back up her claim she is pregnant. Simon comes to break things off with Katie when she drops the bomb that she's pregnant! Carly agrees to go along with Craig's proposal in exchange for a finder's fee. Julia asks Jack about not coming home. Jack takes the blame for all that has happened because he has never admitted Carly is still in his heart. He declares that if Julia can accept that, he wants to have a new life with Julia and the baby. Julia wants more, but Jack is interrupted by a call from Holden and must head out. A panicked Julia realizes she's bleeding! She calls Carly looking for Jack, and Carly rushes to her aid.
At the hospital, Julia admits to Carly that Jack revealed he still cares for Carly. Holden wants Jack to investigate Flashdance - starting with Carly. Jack refuses, and Holden realizes the reason why - Jack is still in love with Carly. Carly arrives and brings Jack to the hospital. Dr. Samuels breaks the news to Julia that the baby died. Carly watches as Jack confronts a distraught Julia. John confronts Carly about hanging around to hold Jack's hand. Jack is moved by Carly's understanding and tenderness, but his attention is focused on Julia when the doctor arrives to report on her condition. Katie claims a doctor in Peoria confirmed her pregnancy, but Simon grows suspicious when she can't recall the doctor's name. She guilts Simon about not trusting her. Later, Katie goes to Margo with questions about being pregnant and Margo realizes that Katie's pregnant. Lucinda wants Lily to join a farewell dinner for Sierra, but Lily is waiting for Simon's call. Lucinda challenges her to think about what she's doing. Lily goes to the farm, where she is moved by Luke and Holden's close relationship. She spends some time with them and ends up staying for dinner. The moment is interrupted when Simon calls Lily on her cell and announces that Katie is having his child.
Denise and Rose open their dance school. Rose is distracted however as she wonders about the status of Holden and Lily. Curtis tries to play matchmaker for Denise and Ben, while Isaac makes inroads with her. Later, Rose, Denise, Isaac, Ben and Curtis toast the success of their first day. Simon phones Lily to tell her that Katie is pregnant. Lily is certain Katie is lying and pulling out all the stops to hold onto Simon. Lily is upset and angry, and Holden walks in on the conversation. Lily admits to Lucinda she still hasn't decided which man she loves more. Lucinda urges her to choose one or hurt both men. After grilling Margo for symptoms, Katie greets Simon with the perfect picture of a pregnant woman - morning sickness, moodiness, etc. Simon begins to believe she's telling the truth and asks to accompany her on her next doctor's appointment. Mei Lin delivers a threat from the syndicate to pay up or else. Barbara receives roses and an invite for dinner at Craig's and doesn't notice the card and gift Hal has left for her. Hal confronts Craig, demanding that Craig stop pursuing his wife. When Barbara shows up, Hal thinks this is the answer to his card. He storms out and Barbara runs out after him. At home, a fuming Hal vows to prove she's making a huge mistake. Vicky disrupts Molly's newscast and then vanishes. But the teleprompter goes haywire, reading 1111 over and over again. Kim cuts to a remote to give Molly time to regroup. Kim allows Molly to finish the newscast. Reluctantly, Kim agrees to grant Molly another chance, but insists she will be interviewing other candidates. Molly tells Jake she believes the message is a date: November 11. Simon admits to Lily he didn't wear a condom when he had sex with Katie. Lily confesses that his having a child could change everything.
Hal explodes in front of the Commissioner telling him that Craig is after his wife! The Commissioner isn't impressed and warns Hal to stay away from Craig. Hal is outraged when presented with a restraining order Craig has taken out against him. Barbara fumes that Hal has stood her up. Talking to Dr. Michaels, Barbara seems more interested in defending Craig than saving her marriage. Hal rushes in, ranting that Craig is the reason he's late. Barbara storms out and goes directly to Craig's suite. Meanwhile, Dr. Michaels warns Hal that Barbara may not want to save the marriage anymore. Simon announces that he wants proof that Katie is pregnant. Katie bristles that Lily has put him up to this, but Simon insists that he take Katie to see her doctor this afternoon. A panicked Katie calls Henry, who helps her set up an appointment with the shady doctor immediately. Emma is concerned about Lily and Holden, but Joe thinks they need to figure things out themselves. Rose arrives to see Holden and Joe ushers her out. Joe warns Rose that Lily is still in love with Holden and Rose will end up getting hurt. Lily tells Holden that she waited for him all night and Holden admits he spent the night with Rose. Holden has decided to let Lily go. He refuses to wait patiently for her to figure out what will make her happy. Lily blurts out that Katie claims to be pregnant with Simon's child. Holden wonders if that's why she came running back to him. She denies this, explaining she only came to apologize to him. He accepts her apology and she leaves, more lost than eve
Unimpressed with the dingy office, Simon insists that Katie find another doctor in Oakdale. But the sole other patient in the waiting room (Henry incognito) gives Dr. Early a raving recommendation. Simon reluctantly accompanies Katie to the visit, which Henry pays for. A distressed Simon returns home and calls Lily. At the Lakeview, Chris and Emily are on a hesitant date, while Isaac and Denise share their first official night out together. Chris and Emily argue over how to handle Henry. Denise is annoyed by Isaac's controlling attitude, like Ben's. She leaves. Chris storms off when Emily insists they are only friends. Isaac and Emily bump into each other, and decide to have a drink together. Jake demands to know why there are so many discrepancies on Vicky's death certificate. As Jake presses, the Sheriff agrees to help Jake find answers. The medical examiner stands by his statement that Vicky was not pregnant at the time of her death. Cloche, the fisherman who found Vicky, made a statement that Vicky was already dead when he discovered her. Jake insists on speaking to Cloche directly. Vicky appears and urges Jake not to go near the lion. The Sheriff tells Jake Cloche spends most of his time on his boat - The Sea Lion!
Bryant reveals the truth about the mausoleum incident to Lucinda and explains that Hal let him off. Meanwhile, Gabe and Ruby continue to watch Lucinda, waiting to make their move. Hal is stunned by Barbara's request for a divorce and warns her that associating with Craig could cost her her life! Barbara rebuffs Hal's warnings, certain that he is only out for revenge. She insists that it's over. Simon tells Katie that Lily broke up with him. Katie tries to comfort him, but Simon won't let her. She feels guilty about his anguish until he reveals Lily would have left him even if Katie wasn't pregnant. Simon blames Lucinda for what is happening with Lily and a drunken Simon drives off to confront her. Rose comforts Lily over Katie's pregnancy. Lily tells Rose she just needs to be alone right now and isn't planning to reconcile with Holden. Rose finds this hard to believe and is threatened by a possible reunion. Lily senses the new closeness between Rose and Holden and tells Holden she's happy for him. She doesn't reveal what happened with Simon, but later, Rose discloses the truth to Holden. Holden maintains that what Lily does now won't affect what he does, though he is privately shaken.
After crashing his car into Lucinda’s house, Simon declares war on Lucinda. Margo and Katie arrive and Margo arrests Simon. Margo explains to Katie that Simon could be in jail for a long time. Katie wants to stay with Simon, but he reminds her that she needs to take care of their baby. Lucinda calls Lily to make sure she leaves on her trip in the morning, and makes no mention of the incident with Simon. Hal and Jennifer share a heartbreaking good-bye as Hal prepares to move out. Hal tells Barbara that he still loves her, but she maintains that separating is the right thing to do. Jennifer lashes out at Barbara, who turns to Craig. Molly and Jake find Vicky’s grave with a Jane Doe marker, dated 11-11-99. Molly gives Jake time alone at the grave, where he pours out all of his regret and sadness. Jake discovers two tiny tombstones and realizes the babies died three days after Vicky. He blames himself for giving up too soon. Cloche alleges the babies died, but Molly wants to know why Cloche didn’t tell them the truth that day on the boat. Cloche claims he was afraid to tell Jake, but maybe now they can all rest in peace. Jake and Molly leave, failing to see the floating spheres of light circling Vicky’s grave and Vicky’s whispered pleas of, “No…no…no….”
Carly and Tom visit Flashdance at the Snyder barn, where Joe is guarding the horse. Tom realizes Craig is involved and won’t help Carly pursue the horse, but agrees not to reveal anything to Craig. Barbara informs Craig that she asked Hal for a divorce and Craig presses her to get a Caribbean quickie divorce. Barbara is stunned when Craig declares that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Simon wakes up in jail and almost calls Lily, but hangs up. Katie arrives with a picnic breakfast. Katie and Margo appeal to Halliwell to back off, since Katie is expecting. Katie vows to stand by Simon, insisting that he needs her. Lily confides in Holden that she’s upset about her breakup with Simon. She tells him about her plans to go away with the children, but Holden fears she may be running away from her problems. Lucinda arrives and convinces Holden to give Lily his blessing for this vacation. Lucinda tells Holden about Simon’s accident, but wants to keep it from Lily. Holden insists that Lily hear the truth, and Lucinda reluctantly reveals what happened to Lily. Both Lucinda and Holden are relieved when Lily decides to go on the trip anyway. Mei-Lin, posing as a vet, leaves a message for Holden about Flashdance.
Craig and Hal face off at the crime scene. Hal boasts he knew about the horse and vows this will help him get Barbara back. Barbara receives a bouquet of flowers, but when she learns they're from Hal, she tosses them. Lucinda tells Bryant that she’s fed up with everyone – including him. Tom arrives with proof that Craig forged Lucinda's signature on loan papers against Bryant's trust fund. Bryant confronts his father, demanding a copy of the agreement. Simon's bail is set high and he’s stunned when Katie gets him out. He's astounded to learn that Isaac was his benefactor. Isaac explains that Katie's pleading convinced him, and Simon can pay him back by working in the club. Katie's disappointed when her Valentine's homecoming dinner doesn't work out as planned and Simon leaves. He goes to Lily's house and is shocked to hear she has gone away on her trip. At the hospital, Rose fears the worst. Holden is there for her, breaking through her tough girl façade. Craig arrives and offers to buy the horse from Holden, but he refuses. When Craig claims the horse was stolen from him, Holden tells him to talk to Hal Munson. Craig assures the syndicate he will take care of Mei Lin. Emma arrives and comforts Rose. Bob tells Rose that Joe survived surgery and his chances look good. Hal presses Mei Lin for information he could use against Craig. Mei Lin reveals that Craig killed Winston Lowe by poisoning him! Hal is stunned and more concerned than ever about Barbara’s safety.
At the cemetery, Vicky appears to Jake and Molly one last time. Jake shows Vicky their twin girls, and Vicky assures Jake and Molly that their new family is meant to be. Bryant informs Lucinda that all of Craig's actions have been for revenge - against Lucinda! When Bryant admits that he can't stop thinking about all of his mistakes, Lucinda tells her grandson that she is proud of him for taking responsibility for his errors and offers to pay for the damages he made to the mausoleum. Later, while Bryant and Jen celebrate a belated Valentine's Day, Bryant notices a P.O. Box address at the bottom of the cemetery bill and believes that it may lead him to Gabriel Frank! Meanwhile, Gabe learns that Bryant was behind the break-in and informs Ruby that this is the perfect way for them to reel Bryant in. Curtis overhears Ben's conversation with a social worker and becomes upset when he fears that his mother might be an obstacle in his adoption. A desperate Henry begs Katie to give him some money so he can get out of town. When Katie won't help him, Henry threatens to spill all about her fake pregnancy. Just then, Simon enters. He notes Katie's nervousness…and recognizes Henry from the doctor's office! When Simon challenges Katie on her pregnancy, she runs out.
Simon forces Katie to admit that she faked her pregnancy. Katie thinks that they can still make their marriage work, but Simon disagrees. He thanks Katie for ruining his life and tells her to get lost. Alone, Katie bursts into tears, then vows that she’s not going anywhere! At Jack’s urging, Julia visits a psychiatrist. She admits that she has insomnia - and is scared of losing her husband. Dr. Michaels prescribes Julia some sleeping pills, provided that she stop by for another visit. Julia agrees and after accidentally knocking over the doc’s business cards, manages to swipe some blank prescription forms. Mei Lin thwarts Hal’s plans when she will not sign a paper stating that Craig murdered Winston. Later, Hal refuses to let Carly claim Flashdance unless she testifies that Craig killed her husband. When Carly chooses not to help him, Hal threatens to take Carly’s access to Parker away from her. Henry overhears. Elsewhere, Barbara asks Craig what he's doing and he reveals that he’s involved in a property dispute, which has left him with a temporary cash flow problem. Barbara offers to loan Craig the money he needs, but he won’t accept it. She then asks him to accompany her to the Dominican Republic and is hurt when he declines the invite. Just then, Henry interrupts to warn Craig about Mei Lin and Hal’s threat to Carly. Craig decides that it is time for him to eliminate a few problems….
Just as Jack is about to leave to see Carly, Julia walks in and reveals that she has been prescribed sleeping pills. She suggests that they try for another baby. Jack thinks they need to work through their grief over losing the first one. When she asks Jack to make love to her, he lies that he has to go to work. Hal signs the divorce papers when Barbara accuses him of putting the children in the middle of their marital problems. Simon returns home, surprised to find Katie still there. He informs her that he’s thinking of going back to Australia. Lucinda arrives, announces that Lily has gone away with her children and offers him another deal to leave town. She has a friend at the I.N.S. – Halliwell - who will call off the watchdogs and she will pay to have his marriage to Katie dissolved. Later, Halliwell stops by and Simon assures him that even though he and Katie lost their baby, he has no plans to leave her or Oakdale. Jack meets up with Carly, who asks him to help her with Hal. Suddenly, Parker is in a playground accident. Simon tells Katie that he’s only sticking around because he wants Lily to face him when she comes back from her trip. Katie promises that from now on she will behave. Craig hires Cass Winthrop to represent him regarding Flashdance. The men are interrupted when Carly calls to tell Craig about Parker. At the hospital, Hal informs Carly that this latest incident has convinced him to take Parker away from her. At that moment, Craig steps in and introduces Cass as Carly’s lawyer. Elsewhere, Julia uncaps her bottle of sleeping pills.
While Kristine W performs at the Java Underground, Jack tells Carly that he cant let her go and has decided to leave Julia. A self-protective Carly tells Jack to come to her only when he has finally walked out on Julia. Later, Lisa informs Jack that Julia has made a decision to run away. Jack races home and finds it empty. Katie follows Simon to Java, and continues to press him on his reason for remaining in Oakdale. When an angry Simon refuses, Katie decides to make Simons secret her new mission and gives Henry a call. Gabe and Ruby bring Bryant and Jennifer back to their trailer with the hopes of winning Bryants confidence in order to gain access to Lucindas money. While Ruby and Jen are running an errand, Gabe tells Bryant that Ruby is in love with him and must be let down easy. Meanwhile, Ruby informs Jen that she has no interest in Bryant and want she and Jen to be friends. Jake plans a romantic evening for him and Molly after the twins are asleep. He gets down on one knee and is ready to make an official marriage proposal to Molly when the doorbell rings. Carly and Parker need a place to crash.
Molly is nervous about making a good impression on the nannies they are interviewing for hire. After she and Jake interview several horrible applicants, Mary, their idea of perfection, walks into the house. They hire her for a trial period. At the Lakeview, Craig starts to break down, unaware that Carly is in his suite. He eventually tells Carly about his dire need for money, explaining that the Hong Kong syndicate will kill his family. She responds with sympathy and signs over her check from the insurance company. In awe of Carlys generosity, Craig shows sincere gratitude and they share a warm moment. Lily meets Rose for a drink at Java to talk about her return to Oakdale. After fishing for information on how Holden responded to Lilys return, Rose arranges for Lily to bump into Simon. Lily apologizes to Simon for all that she put him through and offers to help him with his INS troubles. Simon maintains that he didnt go through all of that trouble just for her. Meanwhile, Rose finds Katie and tells her to forget about her dreams with Simon because he is at Java with Lily. An anxious Katie calls Henry for information on Simons past. Katie is stunned when Henry informs her that Simon might already be married to someone else!
Jack goes to see Carly and tells her that he only cares about her and promises to end his marriage with Julia immediately. Jack tries to convince Julia that their relationship is over, but Julia thinks they can still make it work. Dr. Michaels tells Jack that if he ends things with Julia, she will snap. She needs time to get healthy before she can deal with losing the one thing she defines herself by: her marriage. Jack tries to explain to Carly why he cant break things off with Julia, but Carly furiously smashes their compass. Meanwhile, Holden assures Joe that he has no intention of hurting Rose, but he has to make the right decision for his kids. Simon tells Holden that Lily is through with him and he just wants her to be happy, even if that means her being with Holden. Rose is disappointed to learn that Simon is letting Lily go that easily. Rose plants her letter from Holden in Lilys bag. In the letter, which was written while Rose was pretending to be Lily, Holden proclaimed his love for the new Lily. Katie goes to see Lily looking for information about Simon. Lily tells Katie that Simon will never love Katie. When Simon tells Katie that he is leaving Oakdale, Katie begins scheming to keep Simon around.
