Season 12

Numerous times, I found myself believing that 'AHS' had hit rock bottom, but it manages to keep unearthing new depths.

I was once a devoted fan, but now... Kim Kardashian discussing a viral TikTok salad dressing known as 'green goddess,' seriously? Even the most trivial chatter nauseates me.

It's alarmingly vacant, sluggish, and utterly devoid of the chills and thrills that horror should deliver.

Just keeps getting worse every season. Anyone that made this show decent, from the acting to the writing, has departed the show. The last few seasons I keep asking why I'm doing this to myself. Maybe it's a morbid fascination to find out just how badly they can drive this once very cool show into the ground. Worst season yet.

I thought Mr Jingles was the lowest one can get, but Ryan Murphy proved me wrong.

All in all I didnt mind it. I do think the 2nd half was better than the first.

Worst season ever. Kim Kardashian somehow made this an all new low. She has to be one of the worst actresses of any time.

loving Emma Roberts and Kim K., awesome performances. I just hope they don't fuck up the second part and follow the same line and resolve well. very much looking forward for this second part

I dont mind it. But I can guarantee if Kim K wasnt in it there would NOT be so much name dropping going on. Thats really the only thing that pi*sing me off.

It’s just repetitive and weak and vague. I think they just think being weird and vague makes it deep and interesting but far from it. Every episode is literally something weird happens to Emma Roberts then some side characters act weird. The actual reveal is not really a reveal and exactly what’s teased throughout. Then the conclusion is just meh

Please, if you value your time, skip this season. Don't end up like me.

The worst season of American Horror Story

[Disney+] A chaotic, weak and repetitive season, which cannot even be saved by an Emma Roberts dedicated to an impossible character. Surrounded by some of the worst actresses-models-influences on the film scene (Clara Delevingne, Kim Kardashian...), it turns the AHS franchise into a parody of itself, repeating the formula with witches in a story based on a book for the first time. Perhaps not intentionally, through these women wrapped in superficial luxury, and in some cases representing the banality of wealth, it offers a message that can be considered reactionary: is it not possible for a woman to achieve professional success and to motherhood without paying a high price? For a long time now, in AHS, the horror has not been in the stories, but in the scripts.

At this point it's clear that the people who produce this show are just laughing at those of us who continue to watch. The first few seasons were brilliant. Then there were a few seasons that were just pretty good. The last few seasons have been some of the worst TV that have been put out there. This season had no business being made at all.

These grifters have one season left on their contract. You can bet that they will cash it in and put out something even worse than this garbage. They should be ashamed.

i thought this show was good until i watched s12, its like they dont know what to do and are doing everything to keep people watching as at the same time nothing interesting happens and there's no cngruency in the show anymore, im watching this season and im wondering where are they going with this its all just random stuff put together, no more excitement of horror just bs

This season isn't as great as the previous ones but yeah it still has that AHS factor.

I’m not sure how I’m feeling about this season at this point. Usually, a lengthy break in the middle of a season of AHS would have me rattling in my cage, but I’ll admit I’ve almost lost interest (if I ever worked up some interest in the first place)…
Update: the second half is airing and it’s (if possible) worse than the first half so far. This had better get spectacular in the last few episodes or the whole AHS collection will be tainted forever. Bllaaaannndddd.
