I'm going to revise my prediction from last week. It won't be the daughter that eats the infant, it will be mom.
leslie grossman is a gem this season, definitely a highlight
Highlight of this part of the season is Leslie Grossman and that is just about it. The story is far from scary, doesn't quite have the same eerie vibe as previous seasons however it is enjoyable purely because of the actors who deliver despite the poor writing.
The Chemist is an Alien or uses Alien blood to create 'The Muse' pills which she also takes. Anybody who has an Alien ancester - Tge* The pill unlocks celles in brain to make them 'better' but those who are just humans or weak/talentless humans become Ap* 'A Pale', those rabid vampires. The drinking blood is v* to replenish the human blood & nutrients because the pill changes the chemical make up of human blood.
It just goes round and round in circles. I thought the most entertaining parts were with the kid.

The "quality of writing" this season - if you hadn't realized from the previous episodes is of such nature that we get situations like this:
A room has house rules for captive people... yet they instantly say the captive person is going to die that same night. So if people die instantly then why are there rules.
Furthermore, she tells him to fuck her while he is being fucked, but they tie him up and drape 'm over a piece of wood... No acrobat would ever be able to fuck anyone like that
Menial stuff perhaps but if you can't even write a 5 minute scene without staying within the rules of the narrative then you should find another job.
