One of the best premieres. The brooding Lovecraftian setting is very much welcomed.
i’m liking this a lot, feels like classic ahs like seasons 1-5
Absolutely atrocious. Like watching paint dry. Easily one of the worst American Horror Story season openers in years — maybe ever.
“They didn’t understand minimalism AT ALL!” i can already see that becoming a meme.
Although I’m not particularly crazy about the blood-sucking element, I’m finding this season so far very much intriguing, feels like an adult and mature version of American Horror Story, especially coming after 1984.
I have a theory that Alma Gardner is the great-granddaughter of Alma Walker from Asylum but that could just be a random recycled name.
vampire the masquerade vibes me thinks
I have never liked Finn Wittrock acting, not one single bit and then they made him the lead character...
So good so far hope the story gets better though...
Feels like a predicatc* predictable story/plot but at same time so much better than that horrid spinoff. This is not great but still very much what I consider suspense, horror, creepy etc i.e. within the genre and expected basics.

I hope I'm wrong, and the writing isn't that obvious, but end of season will be the daughter eating the fetus/baby.
