13 questions why this show got a third season.
Wow, what a soap opera... The first season was painful to watch because of the things that happened to Hannah, this season was painful to watch because of the shallow and repetitive dialogs/situations, and a plot that could've fit fine into 4-6 episodes. I'm not sure, maybe I'm misremembering things, but the screenplay/writing felt better in season 1 too (and not because of the density). In this one, there were so many things spelled out explicitly, where a nod or a scene cut or any other non-verbal technique would suffice.
I thought this season was amazing. It gave a lot more insight than season 1 and you really get to know each and every character. The acting is superb as well as directing and editing. I love the way this is filmed and I love the depth of the story. If you’re struggling with emotional or psychological problems or not I think this show offers great insight in the why’s and how’s of all people involved. I felt as if I was a part of this story and it moved me to tears. The underlying message is personal for each and everyone I believe but I think this is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I was absolutely hooked from the first episode and couldn’t stop watching just because you wanna know what happens next. Also, there has been a lot of criticism on the more graphic scenes but I think all of them were filmed with class and shows more of the emotions and pain of the victims than just brutal violence. It truly gives an insight as to what a lot of kids deal with on a daily basis (the bullying and assault) and I feel I’d rather watch this (however mentally/ emotionally hard it was) than watch Brad Pitt de-scalp nazi’s in all its glory (Inglorious Bastards).
I can say that I am not a big fan of that show. I've watched this season out of curiosity. Still I don't understand all the hype. As someone mentioned earlier there was potential to send teenagers (especially in USA) loud and clear message and they fuck** that up. Don't waste your time, the ending is so unrealistic and whole season is a big dissapointment.
This season is mostly unnecessary. I thought they would do something good with the 2nd season, but it was terrible. The episode about Zach and the last ones were, full of plot holes and disgusting, respectively.
That scene was unnecessary and I truly wish I could unsee that (I know it happens and some people are as coward as those, but, unnecessary).
Hannah's scene was kind of essential as the entire first season built upon it, but Tyler's scene was there only for dramatic effect.
Zach and Mr. Porter's trial episodes were the most interesting. I was super excited for another season, but for some reason, season 2 fell short for me. Should have left it at season 1 and ended it there.
The central characters are actually likable people in this season. Especially Mr Porter, his redemptive arc is genuinely engrossing. Poorly written, but affecting. The show still has problems with its great moments of acting/writing/visual storytelling/music peppered across lots of mediocre, and half the storylines here don't feel nearly as urgent as the plots of season 1, and they're not meaty enough to fill up a whole season.
4/10
Mr. Porter trial was the best episode and was the one I really liked, this season lacks the excitment of the first one. I liked Justin evolution. Him, Alex, Jessica and Zack are the main reasons I still watch this show. I'm curious about what will happen them.
But I must say, I loved when...
they all started fighting in episode 11, all that repress anger was making me annoyed and that was funny, and Ryan watching with that smirk of him, was even funnier.
That was something I expected, wanted and liked. The rest, was just okay.
I feel like this is a series with one of the strongest season finals I've seen. In this season you can see how the life of the characters has been after the events of the first season. In other words, the consequences that the actions of some of them have brought. Like the first, this season also touches the same topics but with a little more intensity. Exporando everything a little more thoroughly. It also looks like this has affected each of the characters in their life, both for good and for bad. Although I liked this series, I feel that I would not recommend it to everyone because it contains controversial themes and explicit scenes that not everyone would tolerate. I think you have to be someone strong exciting to watch this series if you don't want to be affected / influenced by it.
amei muito essa série, do começo ao fim, mas precisamos admitir a primeira temporada foi mais bem construída!!!
A totally different take on the show from Season 1 and I would say it is still very interesting but not as good as the first season. Some might hate Hannah Baker in this season, but is that all true? The show still managed to make me think a lot. Can't wait for Season 3. 7/10

maybe they could have done something good with this. there was potential to actually send some constructive messages to the young teenagers who'll mainly be the audience. but they fucked that up completely with the last episode, which was truly awful.
