In the supernatural universe of Remnant, four strong girls are training to become Huntresses, which are humanity's only hope of defeating the shadowy and threatening creatures known as Grimm.
Extraterrestrial, or Alien Sci-Fi is a form of Science Fiction focused around alien life. Whilst alien life is a relatively common aspect across science fiction, Extraterrestrial Sci-Fi instead focuses on it as a primary. Investigating the social and philosophical consequences of alien life on humanity.
There are a number of major themes alongside this broad style of sci-fi. There are "First Contact" settings where humanity discovers, or is discovered by an intelligent alien species for the first time. There are "Alien Invasion" settings where humanity is invaded and often genocided by an often technologically superior alien force (this one can bleed into Apocalyptic settings). There are "Alien Investigator" settings too where a Ufologist, or a team of Ufologist-types investigate potential alien activity, or are somehow connected up into a conspiracy where Alien life is concealed from the public. There is also the lesser "Xenofiction" setting, where the narrative takes place from an alien perspective.
The "Terminator" refers to the various infiltration-combat autonomous robots, portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger, manufactured by Skynet's artificially intelligent machine network and its war against humanity.
Terminator is an American science fiction franchise that comprises films, a television show, novels, comic books, video games, and tie in merchandise.
Humanity's pursuit of knowledge leads them to the planet Solo, where they find mysterious remains of a long dead alien civilization, including the 3 part super robot 'Ideon', and a powerful warship. Using these, the Earthlings sent to investigate the ruins defend themselves in their constant conflicts against powerful aliens called the Buff Clan, who are in pursuit of 'Ide', the mysterious energy that powers the Ideon.

Follows the trials of the Colonial Fleet vessel Battlestar Galactica as it leads the last remaining humans on a search for Earth.
