What a beautiful story! and really great acting.
Well that was nice, RDJ, NICE.
There are movies where you watch the trailer and you ask yourself: should I consider watching this ? Yes, the cast is great but hasn`t that story been told before in some way or the other ?
That´s how it was with me and, after watching this, I do not regret it. Maybe I´m geting old but it´s really nice to see movies with great performances by actors who earn that title, that have a story to tell you might even relate to. Movies that are filmed in the real world, that show a great scenery and on camera a real master of his craft.
As much as I like blockbuster, action and sci-fi stuff - from time to time I need a movie like this.
Robert Downey Jr, Robert Duvall, Billy Bob Thornton... what a wonderful cast!
Maudlin ending. It was ok, nothing great, predictably since the beginning but with good acting from every one involved. It is long but it doesn't feel terribly long. The plot didn't captivate me. I might forget about it soon but it was enjoyable for today.
great work. i really enjoyed watching it
It was a solid movie although I didn't quite buy it so I didn't invest in it as much as others.
Great movie with really messages and better than i expected..Acting perfomances are more than great!
Good movie big up RDJ
Definitely worth seeing for two amazing performances from Downey and Duvall.
Absolutely a great movie, nice plot and excellent actors.
Great acting (my first Robert Downey Jr. film)!
-It was interesting to see family relations so entangled in a legal setting where complications are bound to come up. The plot was entertaining enough (with a few small twists), and a mild mix of emotion.

This was a really fine film. Two of the best American actors of their generations, Robert Duvall and Robert Downey, Jr., working off one another's talents throughout the film, along w/ a tremendous supporting cast, made this a compelling journey about family, learning that sometimes the best way to win the battle is not to fight, and realizing that, sometimes, we can go home.
