Good film, but crap real life story... war is pointless
"Green Zone" 2010 and "The Post" 2017 both show how wars are just manufactured lies made up by the politicians in D.C. ; This movie is not about the Iraq war, it is just another pointless death and destruction caused by lies and hidden agendas' movie. Good enough acting.
A standard war film.
'Green Zone' is nothing terrible nor incredible, it mostly hits the usual beats that these films tend to do. It does build solid tension and is shot nicely, with decent action sequences. The pacing is a little off though.
The casting isn't anything grand but is suitable. I'm a fan of Matt Damon, he is perfectly satisfactory in the role of Roy Miller; he holds things together. Elsewhere, you get good things from Brendan Gleeson (Martin) and Khalid Abdalla (Freddy).
I haven't got any more noteworthy feelings towards this to be honest, it really is a so-so film.
Well... what shall I say? Somewhat similar to "Three Kings" this is more a (war-themed) drama then an action flick. While not bad I wouldn't watch it again.
A film that talks about the infamous chemical agents (Iraq War).
Embarrassing.

"It is not for you to decide what happens here.”
A situation often talked about, but, how close to the truth is this?
Explosive and thought provoking journal of some of the events in the Iraq war. We sit at home so disconnected from the reality of whats happening the truth being frankly disturbing.
