Poor movie, many times the graphics look like an amateur film
The final it's so bad...
A little better than the other super movie but again all about the money and this one was even more rushed, less cheesy thought and them graphics are just always going to be over the top and never gonna live up to the original series and again the story was poor and didn’t make any sense..
Not really my cup of tea. Huge drop in comparison to the rest of the Super series, in my opinion.
Whoa, I was NOT expecting it to be this good. Don't get me wrong, the story is ok, but this movie really shines on the action aspect, the fighting animation is really on another level, the cinematography applied to some fight scenes are gorgeous. What struck me the most is the use of 3D animation, it's so carefully blended in that you don't notice it. Color me impressed, what a great action movie.
It was a very good movie. The visuals of the movie are really good and the story is ok. I love the references to the older stuff and Krillin going bald again is cool to see. It's only a shame that everyone is so weak compared to the Super Saiyan gods. It is understandable, but I would enjoy a movie in which Piccolo or Gohan would be the hero (a less predictable story).
It was a refreshing couple of hours of DBZ. I would still rate Battle of Gods higher although Resurrection F was better in terms of visuals. Nonetheless a good movie overall and a must watch for any fan of the series.
awesome film, with the Saiyan Beyon God
Watching this with the English Dub had two issues.
First thing is the dialogue didn't seem to fit with what characters were doing (a lot); Making story development confusing. If reviews are correct and the English matches the Japanese I can't say the story flows well.
Second is that Christopher Ayres doesn't come close to Nakao Ryuusei (Ayres portrays Frieza emotionless for 98% of the movie until almost the end of the movie).
Kanzenshuu's VegettoEX(Mike LaBrie ) said "this is Frieza Dubbed in English NANANANA" "This is Frieza from the manga"
Maybe he considers this an English Localized equivalent of Nakao? But in the manga he is sneering throughout the entire Namek fight. The best thing about manga is deciding for yourself who the character is based on wording and looks/body language(that's all).
I think dubs mess up when they decide the Japanese portrayal needs to be changed. And is this Frieza from the Shueisha or Viz version?
I was really surprised by how much fun I had watching Resurrection F today at the cinema. I actually really like how the story played out, and the visuals impressed me (in comparison to Battle of Gods).
The film went out of its way to bring back a lot of characters to the fray that were previously tossed out in favour of Goku, Vegeta, or another Super Saiyan in previous years. The use of characters like Roshi and Tien as actual fighters and not having them be blown away in a single punch felt like a welcome addition to me. Also, Whis and Beerus will always be a welcome addition to the Z cast in my eyes - getting in Jako (previously only in a DBZ spin-off manga) was an added bonus too. Other more constant members of the Z team also saw a make-over in this film, such as Bulma and Gohan. It was nice to see that Toriyama is ok with still changing his characters and letting them evolve.
In regards to the story, I know at this point it's basically just a small chunk of the overall new Dragon Ball Super sagas and thus was small in scope but that's still alright. It was a chance to reveal a lot of key elements that'll become big players in Toriyama's new DB universe - new levels of Saiyan, much higher levels of power, and a greater intelligent alien presence. It was also a chance to put Frieza's part of the DB universe to rest. I'm also not that fussed about the ending to the film, despite how much I like Vegeta. Toriyama has really shown us that Dragon Ball can go to new places and I like that.
Oh and lastly, the visuals. Really "crisp", and the CG was incorporated in a way that probably compensated for poses that would have been a bit to awkward to draw. Good move. Clap clap clap. Yay. Pretty good for an anime film, well especially compared to Toei's old DBZ films.
So yeah, good film. Go watch it. I saw it dubbed, Frieza's voice was as awesome as ever.
hello, i would like to watch this movie but there is no links......

I loved it... Reminded me why I love Dragon ball Z. A much better film than the disappointment known as Battle of the gods.
