Exactly what I was thinking about while watching... You have army of ships, you are few minutes from the core and you will go alone for some stupid ball that is trapped here... Why? Oh sure...because there is no other way how to destroy them. LOL. There are too many nonsenses I can't even count them...
I just thought "why would those kids missing their parents suddenly give up looking and want to live with Judd Hirsch ?"
Plus yeah it felt like Independence Day: Kids. With the two of heroes kids of the original characters.
Still I enjoyed the movie more than most I guess.
As for Will Smith not being in this. He rather just phone it in miscast as Deadshot.

Why the hell did the queen leave the mothership? She has the largest fcking weapon ever, its almost bigger than earth, and she goes alone! the most important individual runs off to the front line !! Thats the dumbest military move someone has ever made.
(Don't tell me the ship had to drill. they could have done it after they got that tennis ball).
And if you, the Queen, already decided to leave- why the fck do you care about a stupid school bus?!?!?! chasing it for 2 hours!!?? Just go and do what you came to do !! damn that's stupid..
