6.9/10. A lot of this was pretty rudderless, but it's one of those Venture Bros. episodes where I feel like they spend most of the episode screwing around, but then tie it all together in an interesting way in the last five minutes or so, and I'm tempted to call this just a hair below "good."

I actually enjoyed the opening a fair amount though. Getting into the on-the-clock/off-the-clock nature of The Guild is always fun, and juxtaposing Dr. Venture and Sergeant Hatred getting to know each other and going through the mundane paperwork and gladhanding of a new arch, with Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend settling into a new neighborhood and trying to get their henchmen to get along as though they're The Brady Bunch was very amusing.

But once things got to the dinner party, the whole episode got kind of aimless. There's still some amusing moments--#21 and Hank pranking #24 by sending in Dean doing a Patch Adams routine was worth a chuckle--but the whole chase with the Moppets was eh, and a lot of the interactions between the adults fell flat too. I get a big kick out of Sergeant Hatred (though I don't know whether to laugh or be mortified at the attendant sex offender humor), and the "guess which famous person you are" party game was a hoot (especially Dr. Girlfriend not knowing who Jackie O is), but a lot of it just lacked a certain energy.

Still, the end reveal that Sergeant Hatred knew about Monarch constantly robbing him, and is only treating Dr. Venture so nicely to get back at Monarch is a clever twist that makes the whole bit a little more fun. Throw in Dr. Venture's obliviousness, and you've got an episode that has a lot of good moments, but isn't quite there.

@andrewbloom I don't like the Moppets at all!

@sikanderx6 From what I gather, most of the fanbase isn't too fond of them.
